The writing is going to get on the wall real soon if Apple keeps this up. They've been able to get away with it for the most part, and it has been real successful for them, but if they don't cut this proprietary "we're the only ones allowed to do the things we do" shit, they are going to be in big trouble.
When the iPad begins to flounder after a month or so (and it will), I hope they look at it as a wake up call and not as the "the public wasn't ready for our genius" type of arrogance that they showed when Apple TV sputtered and died.

I don't think such a decision should be made so lightly. An eye for an eye is a very silly outlook on life.

Yet, it is also a fair one, you punch me, i punch you back. now the decision on someone's life should not be so abrupt. this, however should not die, he did in fact kill another man, however, people have been able to get away with much worse crimes, without the death penalty. on the other hand, the man who was involved in the 9-11 attacks should not be so lucky as to have a civilian trail, in a country that he most likely doesnt have citizenship, let alone live this long.

Non of my teachers- past or present- are very attractive. It's terrible! How do they expect the students to pay attention without some sort of eye candy?! I mean, it's no like we're supposed to care about learnin- oh wait. Actually there was this one teacher- a history teacher. She was only around 23. She was attractive, but I never crushed on her. The terrible thing is that most of my other teachers are either guys who resemble pirates, or females who resemble the males.

No; it's not my concern. There have been thousands of disasters larger than this that haven't gotten nearly as much publicity. A majority of the people who are contributing through money donations are doing it for a good image, or maybe even because it's the "hip" thing to do- like going green, ect. ect.

Besides, I don't have any money. If I did, I wouldn't necessarily chose to donate to Haiti, rather than another charity.
