talking of infinite loops, I recently got an unhealthy gnome 2.15 vs 2.16 version mismatch during an uppgrade where a panel applet crashed, then the panel crashed, the the bug reporting tool crashed, then the panel started again, then the applet...
but that kind of stuff doesn't happen on sane setups.
I applaud these independent code inspections that would not be possible with closed source software. That being said, running an automated code inspection does not give the whole picture...
People nowadays have a really low opinion of kids nowadays. It's not entirely unfounded, excessively violent games do influence children who're already mentally unstable to begin with. They just distort the facts so it looks like it disturbs everyone (in reality, if GTA REALLY made kids who on homicidal rampages, much much more people would've died as a result since the game was so popular). That and video games are a legal scapegoat for disturbed kids and people are so ready to accept that it's the video game's fault because it's too scary to think that the kids today are so mentally disturbed that they'd murder (and for parents, it could potentially seem like their fault!). Video games are common scapegoats
It's insulting, though. It's like...they're going back and editing scenes from the old Tom and Jerry cartoons to take out any incidences smoking because they're convinced if kids see it, they'll go "Smoking is cool" and automatically do it because they have NO minds of their own. It's weird, though, because they're not at all concerned with the violence shown in every single episode. If kids would smoke due to a cartoon, why aren't they smacking each other on the heads with frying pans? Gads, maybe mentally stable kids DO have the ability to think!
So in other words....you hurt yourself today, to see if you still feel. Tried to focus on the pain, the only thing that's real. And you could have it all, your empire of dirt. You could make me fall, you could make me hurt!
