From Thread: 3D Slowdowns Old Fri Mar 17, 2006 4:22:55 AM

Said By Aron Schatz

Yep. It turns out that the amazing CPU heatsink retention for the LGA775 strikes again. It wasn't sitting flush with the CPU and was overheating. It hasn't manifested itself until recently, but now it is running about 68 deg C and that's an assload better than 95.

All sorted out.

Damn, i'm good...still got the touch...

Netburst is dead and it is a good thing. The Xeon LV is based on the 'Core' architecture that the Pentium M follows. Good stuff.

The triple post! I just updated the latest changes and additions to the forums. You now have the favorite forums in a workable state. This isn't how I want to do it, but it will work for the time being.

When you view any forum, you'll have a link at the topic right to add it to your favorites. Give it a try. Also, I have added a link to the latest threads on the index on the top right as well.

Enjoy. More changes coming soon.

I had a Mac 14 inch iBook for about a week. It was good, but had a problem and I ended up returning it. I still look back and thought I should've kept it.

Looks like I need to fix a bug in updating the picture for the system here as well.

They are the best movies created from SNL, or so I believe.

Now I don't know about that (The Blues Brothers is too high on my list), but they are certainly funnier than the Austin Powers movies (but it's close).

From Thread: Classic Games 1: Super Mario Bros. World Review By Tornado Old Wed Mar 8, 2006 5:34:10 PM
I don't know if I agree with you there Rude. I played the SNES version of Mario a million times, and I agree that this is by far the best 2D side-scrolling Mario game by far, but I really think Mario 64 was even better in terms of creativity, replayability and funness. There was just SO much to do, and it appealled to every level of gamer from novice to expert, because you could beat it easily in a few hours, or you could try to get every star and secret area to really get the most out of it.

It was tough setting up all those situations over there in London just to screw with you, but it was worth every pound. 'Cheers' for a job well done, mates...but I'll personally take all the credit, of course.

P.S. I also had the waiters pee in your orange juice every morning.

omfg.

When I beat this game I achieved the alternate ending. I decided to go back to a previous save and see the default ending(which was gayer then the alternate ending) and it unlocked a couple 'making of the game' clips.

The chief artist (a fat guy with an infected lip piercing) put a little bit of himself in the Prince.
His fag tatoos.
As if they weren't stupid enough... now I will forever associate them with him.

From Thread: The Jessie Project Releases Debut Album! By NachoKingP Old Wed Mar 8, 2006 5:33:51 PM
"Saddest Song, which is a sorrowful ballad speaking to times of the past and a lost soul seeking love."

Wrong! hehehe

Actually, I like to keep some of the songs' lyrics vague and less obvious than, say, the average pop song, so people can relate to them however they please. There really isn't any "wrong" interpretation per se...but this song was about suicide when I wrote it...a girl who felt unloved, ran away from home, and then killed herself to "show them all"...fun times, eh?

there was a girl, so all alone
one fateful day, she left her home
she waved to you, you wished her well
she was so blue, you couldn't tell

because the girl, she wanted one to love
but now she is gone
she couldn't bear her loveless home

she ran away, she had no home
she made them pay, she showed them all
that lonesome girl, so all alone
that famous day, it will be known
she was forgotten by her only love
and now she has gone
because of you, this is her song

oh yes, the girl just wanted one to love
but now she is gone
this is that girl's
most saddest song
