X-box problems

I need help cleanin my X-box. I need to open it up, then the dvd drive, okay. What do i need to do this?

Try getting one of those DVD cleaner things that clean the lens on the laser.

slow loading time, then it says the x-box dvd is dirty or damaged. It is brand new, and FLAWLESS

i dunno if that will break it or work. I've heard dvd cleaners fuck of dvd's so I dunno about a dvd drive cleaner. I just wanna know how to open the X-box up and the dvd drive within

BTW cleaning the dvd drive rarely helps for the problem you're describing. Buy a new xbox, and swap the dvd drive if you don't want to lose all your downloads/saves. That's what I did. I then used the old xbox with the failing dvd drive as a dvd player for the bedroom. It worked fine with movies, despite screwing up on games.

did u buy insurance for it or if they will refund it take it back and say it doesn't work.

Another option is to buy another drive to replace yours. There are 3 different drives available for the X Box, you can get one ranging from $50 to about $100 or so. Go <a href="http://www.llamma.com/xbox/">here</a> for tutorials on how to remove the drive and to see what parts you can order.
