Project Needlemouse: Sonic 2D 2010

Discuss now. This is what I've been waiting for ever since the good old days of playing Sonic on the Genesis. No amount of 3D made Sonic like he was in the old side scroller days.

I've played Sonic Rush, it didn't have the same feel.

This should be good.

Its Amazing how hes not Dead Yet. The fans just keep playing those shitty new games.

That trailer alone got 2,553 replies at Sonic Stadium and 1,766 replies at Sonic Retro.

I think it's going to be 2D like the scroll game play and have 3D textures to sonic and the surroundings.

That's exactly what it is going to be, that's what Sonic should be.

As long as it's fast I don't care what form it takes!
