I remember there being some activity once upon a time around here. In this forum. Anyway...

Hey, do you know The Cat Empire? What do you think of them?
great music. great band.

I was wondering, have any of you heard of them? They're an Australian band, and probably relatively well-known down under, and they've become relatively well-known/popular in the corresponding scene* at least around here. Since they're not somebody the general public has ever heard of, I'm wondering, are they at all known where you are, among the company you keep?

Here's a sample for your viewing pleasure. Maybe you know something similar... post it! That'd be nice.

PS: There was a concert in autumn. I tried so hard to get a ticket. Impossible.

{*in this case, that's a kind of arty, left-leaning, green crowd mostly composed of university students}
