That was a very political episode. The whole episode was one big allegory.

The lawyer being mistakenly arrested as the Xbox killer is 9/11 and the Xbox killer is Osama Bin Laden.

Wuncler the III(one of two of the wiggers) stands for George Bush. Note the "W" medallion on his neck during the episode.
Gin Rummy stands for Dick Cheney or Rumsfeld, most likely Rumsfeld, Rummy - Rumsfeld

When Gin Rummy and Wuncler III start beating up the black people in the neighborhood it's just like the Patriot Act. They are trying to get information in anyway possible. The Patriot Act lets the government ignore many means of privacy to intercept information regarding terrorists.

Gin Rummy and Wuncler III taking the liquor from the gas station symbolizes America taking oil from Iraq.

The store owner represents Saddam. When the gas station owner says to Wuncler that his father helped him build the place, he's implying that George Bush Sr. helped him build Iraq.

Then, all of a sudden when Wuncler and Rummy start accusing the owner of holding a gun, that represents Bush accusing Saddam of hoarding weapons of mass destruction.

The weird cop character that couldn't decide whether to believe Wuncler or not represents the people who supported America. They all of a sudden "see the gun" that the gas station owner supposedly had and convinced the cop to believe them.

The gas station owner says "you must be talking about the gas station with the korean owner up north" which implies North Korea.

The people that come out from the back of the gas station represents the Iraqi army. Wuncler or Rummy said "they didn't know the people would shoot back".

All in all, it's a great show filled with humor and comedy and masked with symbols.

I actually get it now. When they started with the whole drop the gun thing, I didn't get it...

Thanks.

Damn. I never noticed that. Nice philisophical rant. It's even funnier now.

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today?
Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection.
Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!

Even if it isn't carefully analyzed the episodes are still pretty funny. They had many allusions to Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Pulp Fiction in that episode. I hope this season of Boondocks last at least a few months.

Allusions to Pulp Fiction? I think it was more than that. Good ole' Samuel L. quoted half of his lines from that movie.

Do you think the cop might have been portraying the American Congress, who, when they didn't support Bush directly were accused of being unAmerican, and eventurally caught in the crossfire, helpless?

I haven't caught it yet because I've been avoiding the new Adult Swim shows that make my eyes bleed, but now I think I'm going to have to. Or download them on Bittorrent. Especially since there is a linux bittorrent client. Woot.

It might've been that, anybody dragged into the war by Bush. It actually sounds pretty reasonable.

You should try and catch an episode of Boondocks, but you're right, I can't stand most of the other Adult Swim cartoons. The only two shows I watch are Full Metal Alchemist and Boondocks. Here's the streaming Boondocks episode I found on youtube. It's the one with Charlie Murphy and Samuel L. Jackson.
