AMD Dual Core Optimiser and Driver

My next build will be AMD... when the price cuts on their CPUs take place.

why amd, it apears that intel's conroe will be the top cpu in next round of battle.

I'm waiting for the new Core chips to come out, but the price drops for the current CPUs look tasty. You never get good deals on the latest and greatest, look one speed down for the best.

thta's absolutely true. hence I can't never ever buy those high end cpu. heck even current cpu is expensive, amd64 has been hovering around 200 for a long time. It's nice to see that amd reduce the price to around 100ish on some of lower clockspeed. now if and only if amd can reduce their dual core. I think once intel brings out conroe's dual core, amd will reduce the price.

Large price cuts are in store... Good stuff. But, Conroe may turn out to be nearly as cheap so...

Even the Pentium D line will have some large price cuts. This will be the time to buy.

I completely forgot about those. I'm still on the fence now.
