I used to read Newtype...3 years ago or something. It's bloody huge for a magazine, full of stuff. If you're a big anime/manga fan and look to discover new anime (mainly those in Japan, since [at least when I read it] it was mostly a translation of the Japanese magazine of the same name) I'd say it's worth a subscription.
But I'd say no for mild aniem fans, since it's a bit expensive (or was, anyway)
Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?
thats what i thought too, but i was looking at the newest one that came out, and it had A LOT of old stuff on it. The only thing i didnt know about was 1 series. Everything else had finshed months ago. So i was just wondering if it was just a one time thing or are they always 3-4 months behind? cuz if its not, im not going to bother.
I can't really say, because as I mentioned I haven't really read it in ages. However, when I read it the anime in it hadn't made it to American shores yet, so they were considered 'new' here. Although, if you download subtitled episodes or similar, than they usually will be behind.
If I had to guess, since it's a Japanese magazine that's translated, it probably needs to wait for it to be published in Japan before they translate it and then, after all that, ship it over, which probably gives it some lag. But then, I can't say for sure
