"Damn well I spoke to Monty told him my decision he understood even gave me a new motorcycle and my fathers blade.. I know things bad for ed but I'm sure he will pull through and we can stay together" he says happy

Odette looks at Blake and smiles, nodding. She was overjoyed, though it didn't seem like it. The despair in the room was too much. Especially seeing as Odette had been in the hospital for several hours now.

"Hey. Wake up soon." Odette whispers to Ed. She then looks at Blake and takes in a deep breath. "I'm going to get some things for this room. Flowers. Balloons. I don't know but it's so depressing." She lightly giggles, trying to lighten up the atmosphere.

"OK I'll be here with Ed" he says

"Alright~" Odette chimes before leaving the room and then teleporting to an alley way downtown. She strides into the nearest shop, buys six colorful balloons and two bouquets of flowers, and then walks out with her arms full. "I hope Ed isn't allergic to flowers or anything." Odette laughs. "Maybe I should get some food for Nyx. . . she probably hasn't eaten much today."

"The old prophecy is being awakened. . ." The king exhales, opening his eyes.

(I'm going to wait for Chesh and then I want to do a short time skip. . .)

: 3 . W E E K S . L A T E R :

Dianne had rarely left her son’s side throughout the weeks. If she did, it was either to find something to snack on or to use the restroom. Other than that, she more or less refused to leave. But, there were moments when she had to.

Ed was usually going through tests. But when he would be given spinal taps, Dianne would break down. She had been reading a book, sitting at Ed’s bedside. She hears something, and ignores it at first.

Then, Dianne lifts her head up to see Ed’s eyelids slowly peeling apart to reveal the lively green eyes.

“Eddy.” Dianne whispers her son’s name, her eyes widening as his slightly open. But he doesn’t look at her.

He takes a look around the room, confusion taking over his once calm facial features. He tries to speak at first, but the only thing that is produced is an upset noise. Even if he wanted to speak, he couldn’t. Because of the tube, and because it was as though he physically couldn’t. . . he was still so tired.

nyx is at home, she'd been dragged by her own brothers away from the hospital and taken shopping to take her mind off of things.... they couldn'tve bared to see her so empty anymore. and so here she is, washing her hands and swirling mouthwash to get rid of the blood from both the demon and the human her brothers has brought her.... three weeks without a human essence had left her rather powerless to do little other than sit there and read to ed....

probably why they had to get her away, she was starving herself to death just worrying about him.

"stupid demon...." she hisses as she spits out the mouthwash "your blood and flesh is almost as disgusting as your soul"

Dianne takes her phone out of her pocket, and is quick to dial Nyx's number. She had to inform her of what was going on.

nyx looks up from the crimson water in her sink and glances at her phone.
her eyes widen as she sees diannes number and she quickly picks it up "h-hello dianne? they haven't done anything to him have they? i-is he ok?" she asks, scared.

"Nyx. H-he's awake!" Dianne tries to keep her voice down a bit. She didn't want to startle Ed. It was clear that he was confused. . .

He groans again as he lightly tugs on the tubes and wires. He didn’t want to be hooked up to all of these damn machines. He just wanted to get out of here. He just wanted to get up and laugh it all off. Could he even laugh? He wasn’t sure. He wasn’t even sure of his own name. His name. That memory seemed to be too out of reach. But it's there. . .

"i'll come over right away" she says, hanging up and quickly yelling random words to her brothers as she runs out to the hospital.

she'd run all the way if she had to.

because he was there, awake, and she'd missed it....

( also will be on/off cause a complete and utter wanker is trying to bad mouth moi and my friends XD )

(I'll be going for a bike ride soon and then some shopping. . . so that's okay! XD)

Ed was starting to drift off again, his eyes beginning to close. He looks down slightly to see the woman in the room holding his hand, tears streaming down her aged face. It was a familiar face. . .

"Ed, stay awake. Please." Dianne croaks, tightening her grip on Ed's hand.

Diwo pulls up beside Nyx in his car, and asks, "Hey do you need a ride?"

she nods estatically as she hops in, shaking in anticipation "he's awake diwo! he's awake!" she giggles happily, the first time in weeks.

"That's great!" Diwo grins, glad to see his sister finally happy. He parks at the hospital, and takes in a deep breath. "Just remember Nyx, don't make too much noise and don't jump on him. . . he just woke up from a coma. He's going to be a bit out of it." He chuckles.

she nods at diwo as she kisses his cheek and gets out, walking into the hospital she sighs, she hated hospitals....

"ahhh miss creeda! returned to us i see? he's still in the same room, go on he's woken up" a nurse says as she walks past her.

she walks to eds room and stands in the doorway "e-ed?"she asks quietly.

There was a doctor in the room, checking Ed over, writing down numbers and other words to describe his responses.

But Ed was just staring into space, his breathing subtle and his eyes half-lidded.

"We're going to have to give him some time." Dianne whispers, now standing at Nyx's side. "They said it could take a while for him to even remember his own name. He'll have to go through several therapy sessions, mostly for physical. But the doctor said his chance of a full recovery is around 92%. . ."

"he's going to recover dianne. i promise ok? i'll take him whatever condition he's in. he's mine." she says smiling

"and the moment i can, i'm unleashing my....d.e.m.o.n.i.c things and i hope seeing me...the real me will help him remember...." she sighs, full of hope.

Dianne smiles at Nyx. She was overjoyed with Ed having Nyx. Dianne hugs Nyx and whispers a grateful "Thank you so much. . . thank you for being with him."

The doctor then takes Dianne and walks out of the room to talk to her.

Ed's head turns to the right, and he looks at Nyx and blinks. Just like with the elderly woman. . . this girl seemed familiar. More familiar than anyone else who had walked into the room. His stomach flipped at the sight of her, in a joyful or nervous way. Maybe both. He wasn't sure.

she waves at ed " hey....how are you doing? nod if your ok...or can you not do that yet?" she asked worriedly

Ed just blinks again, but after a couple of minutes, he gives a slight nod. He then looks at the nurse who had walked into the room.

The nurse says to Nyx, "He will be going to a rehabilitation center, where several hours will be put towards physical recovery, and then several towards mental recovery. But recovery will be quicker because he has so many people who care for him."

She holds a stress ball in her hands, and places it in Ed's palm. The nurse slowly makes a motion with her hand, curling her fingers and then uncurling them. Ed begins to copy her, but uses the stress ball. The nurse then repeats with Ed's left hand. She then takes the ball away, and forms her hands into fists. It takes time, but Ed slowly manages to do the same.

"Good. You're already getting ahead of the game. By tomorrow we should be able to get you to the rehabilitation center." The nurse praises Ed, and then she leaves the room.

Ed lets out a dragged out sigh, his eyes resting on the machines. He then looks back at Nyx and nods once more.

her eyes light up at this as she nods back " i read to you while you were out you know.... i'm amazed you can keep to quiet with all the words i've crammed down your ears as you slept" she laughs slightly " but i only left for a day and this happens? you wake up without me..... i'm so sorry...."

she looks at him, half smiling "but we'll get you better.... ok....ed?" she asks quietly.

Ed curls his fingers into a fist once more, and lifts his thumb up, giving Nyx a thumbs up. He then returns a half smile. It was awkward, as though Ed had never smiled before in his life. But it was still a smile.

"Shake. . . speare." Ed says, the word coming out under his breath and cracked, the pronunciation a bit off.

Blake was regularly visiting Ed between his soccer practice he was offered a position on a national team in Europe.. he wouldn't be gone as much only during the season but he was allowed to stay and practice in EDGLY

He walked into Eds room.." Dianne is he..awake" he says

Lycos looks at the king.." do you still want me to bring Regina back for her crimes my king I am done with my training" he says

her eyes widen at this and she starts crying "d-don't worry. th-these are happy tears." she tells him as she walks up to his bed "so you heard me huh? thank god.... i've missed you ed...." she says in a hushed tone.

(Soccer . . .the world's greatest sport! XD)

"The old prophecy has been awakened. . . but my daughter is still a criminal. Bring her back." The king waves his scepter, which had gone from drenched in blood red to being intertwined with golden thread to match the glowing gem.

Odette pops up beside Blake, and looks at Ed still giving Nyx a thumbs up as his smile widens. "Wow! He's finally awake." She giggles, overjoyed.

Through the three weeks, Odette was training for the Olympics. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do yet. Swimming? Gymnastics? Maybe track? There were too many things!

she hisses as odette suddenly appears " why do you never take the door?! you almost gave me a heart attack!" she frowns " ed d-do you remember me j-just a little bit?" she asks, diverting her attention to him once more.

Ed nods at Nyx once more, and then points at her head. Horns. He then slightly opens his mouth and points at his teeth. Fangs. And then he makes a swaying motion with his hand. Tail.

"Oh! Nyx. . . do you want me to do that thing again? So you can bring out your tail and horns?" Odette asks her, smiling.

"Hey baby Ed is awake I'm so happy... are you still coming to my practice" he says
