Microsoft giving away more software

Does anyone else think that Microsoft will eventually be forced to give almost all its software away and sell support? I believe that Windows will become free after all this Vista debacle.

I think Vista will be a failure, but Microsoft will happily go on charging people for everything.

After Vista falls flat on its face, Microsoft will continue to offer more free programs and services to entice people to continue to use Windows. If that doesn't work they'll probably begin more incentives (coupons, etc.) to get people to upgrade. If they still don't get the result that they want, I think they will eventually offer the operating system cheap or free. I think it will take a while though. Maybe not with Vista, but perhaps with Microsoft's next piece of crap.
