Great OC you got there, those older Opties really are good at OC'ing for the most part. I was getting around that with my old 3000 Venice with water cooling.
Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty.
Damn that is crazy.
On that note I got my 3000+ OC'd to 2.8GHz on air with an insane CPU voltage on a MSI Neo2 Plat which was stable.
I am never gonna try 1.7V ever again.
A few guys who bought their optys with mine got them running @ 3.0 on stock volts! I was hoping to get one of those but I'm satisfied with what I have. This one's running at 2.6 on only 1.375 volts set in bios and cooled with an XP-90. Casing won't take anything bigger and I haven't ventured into water yet.
