Lol, Its not about that, its not like television, it is darker at 11 there than it is here at 8, so I need to see when it will be positioned over the pacific coast.

Space is such a cool thing to look at.

I didn't even think about it until I re-read this pos last nite. But out in the country where I live, you can see something falling out of the sky just about anytime you look, maybe not as large as a meteor, but something anyway..........Smile

Nothing really special really, it's just that I live so far out in the country that there are no lights of any manmade lights of any kind at night and you can see everything in the night sky, every asteroid, meteor, everything. It's totally different than living in or around a town or city................Smile

I used to live out in the country, no lights or polution, and the sky was absolutely beautiful. I would sit out there with juice and a book and stare at the sky for hours through my telescope.

what?! how can you see halley's comet in 90s when the comet comes after every 76 years and was seen in 1976. i think you mistook another comet for halley's.

No, I hate Star Trek...

But, if you are trying to call me a geek, yes, that is right.

I love Star Wars... Well, except the Christmas special.
