No reason for me to get rid of my DVD's, they work just fine, I see no improvement with any of the new ones except for more storage space. And I don't have a problem getting up off my butt to switch out a movie every now and then.

I for one refuse to buy either of them. Down with DRM.
And when Blu-Ray (in my opinion) wins and DVD's are discontinued by major studios in favor of ICT activiation?

In not crazy about going to purchase or spend my money in movies I already own in DVD, I can see Blue Ray and HD-DVD becoming popular for backing up and burning video in about 5 to 7 years from now, once Cam-corders and Drives become mainstream and affordable. For now ill stick with my burnable CD's, DVD and hard-drives ahh throw in a thumb drive too
