ENHANCE! (Work in Progress)

(I wanted this all to happen a bit later in the story due to the story moving fairly quickly at the start, I thought it would be a good opportunity to build character between now and what I am about to do, but seeing as interest in this story seems to be fading from you all, I am moving up the story just a bit.)

3 weeks later

Kozuki and Alex had been in class B for the past 3 days, Alex had kept Kozuki from insinuating a battle with Akuma until now, telling him he needed more strength first, but yesterday during training Kozuki had perfected a technique he had been working on and was ready for his fight with Akuma. They had met on the track field outside of school. "Alright Akuma, are you ready to lose?" Kozuki said, his eyes flaming with excitement.

"HAHAHAHA! I like you kid, sorry, I still don't remember you." Akuma said, getting in his fighting stance.

"seriously? I have been in your class for three days already!" Kozuki said angrily.

"GET READY!" the teacher who was officiating the match said. he turned on the force field which took up the entire track field. "FIGHT!"

Kozuki makes the first move, he pulls out his broken broom handle and imbues it with wind, which pulls him towards Akuma even faster. Akuma dodges and punches at Kozuki, who is sent flying toward the other end of the field. he gets up and smirks at Akuma.

"looks like you can take my punches." he said, as his fists began glowing with dark powers. "then I don't have to hold back." he smiled as he jumped into the air and came flying down at Kozuki.

Kozuki rolled out of the way just in time as Akuma made a giant crater where he landed. Kozuki then turns and swings his sword, as he does the wind changes to flame. it collides with Akuma, who puts one arm up to block it, burning him but the look on his face showed it didn't bother him. Kozuki then brought his fist to Akumas face, sending him back a couple feet. Akuma quickly recovered and ran at Kozuki "THIS IS GETTING FUN!" Akuma shouted as he came barreling toward Kozuki, he swung his fist at Kozuki, who jumped over it and landed on Akumas head, he kicked off, causing Akuma to bend slightly, in the air he spun around, his Make shift blade hit Akuma in the back of the head, sending him straight into the ground.

"nice moves." Akuma said, getting up and turning to Kozuki. "Kozuki, you are stronger then I expected, but now the battle has gone for too long, I will end it." Akuma said smiling. his whole body became imbued with the darkness, he ran at full speed toward Kozuki, who prepared to dodge, but was caught off guard as Akuma jumped into the air half way to him, he came barreling down towards the ground that Kozuki stood on "DARK METEOR!" Akuma shouted as he made impact with the ground at Kozukis feet. the entire ground shook, and a crater was made in the shape of the force field around Akuma and Kozuki.

Akuma smirked "you should be honored, I only use that move to end the fight when I am facing someone really powerful." Akuma says.

"HEY!" Kozuki said from above Akuma, who turned and looked just as the broom handle collided with Akumas face, then came Kozukis fist, which made contact with the lower part of Akumas jaw "FULL COUNTER UPPERCUT!" Kozuki said as he landed on his feet next to where Akuma had been standing just seconds before, Akuma fell down next to Kozuki, still conscious and smiling, but unable to move out of shock.

Akuma began laughing as he stood up off the ground. he walked to where the officiating teacher was standing and said "go ahead, the match is over, I lose." while laughing. the barrier was brought down and Akuma sat down on the bleachers. "how did you manage that?" he asked.

"Easy, I used your own force against you. before you landed your meteor punch I had cut a square part of the ground and stepped back slightly so you wouldn't land it on me. you launched me into the air like a catapult, and I kicked off the top of the barrier to keep the momentum or whatever so I could hit you with your own punch." Kozuki smiled.

"I taught him all those words." Alex whispered, not wanting to ruin Kozukis moment.

"more importantly, you remembered my name." Kozuki says happily as he falls back on the ground, exhausted.

Kozuki smirked "there will always be someone stronger." he says as he stands up "Akuma was strong, but he lacked smarts, which is where Alex came in handy. but there are people who's power come close to Akuma, and who's intellect rival Alex, like Kaito." he had become the Official strongest person in the city, but there where still the unofficially strongest, and the strongest of other cities, Kozuki wasn't done proving himself yet.

the loudspeaker suddenly burst to life

"Attention students, an Emergency school meeting will take place in the conference hall in 5 minutes, please, everyone show up."

"I wonder what's happening?" Kozuki said, looking at the speaker above the bleachers.

(They're already in the school meeting. Hatsumi brought them to it)

with everyone present, the principal stepped onto the stage. he was a vary old looking man, but there was something about him that demanded respect. "Since the start of the year, many of you have been wondering why there was no Class A, perhaps you believed no one was good enough for Class A, or perhaps you thought it had already been selected and was in a different building then our own." he said. "the truth is, since the start of the school year, you have all been monitored, only the best of the best are worthy to be in class A, and with the fall festival approaching, it is finally time to create Class A." the principal turned and sat in a chair near the podium, as he did, Zenji stepped onto the stage, he stood in front of the podium and looked at all the students for a few minutes before speaking "I am Zenji Saotome, the teacher for Class A, and I have selected the few of you I consider good enough to join. a list is being posted outside as we speak, if you are on the list and do not show up for my class tomorrow, then you will be Expelled without question. the school has no time for those who deny their power." he turns and walks off stage without another word.

"yes...well...there you have it, all class A students shall be informed of their new homeroom tomorrow morning, to prevent fighting between the Chosen and the not chosen I have decided to allow an early day today, meaning no official challenge can be given to anyone for the day. please enjoy your day." the principle says before walking away as well.

He is quite powerful as when he was younger he'd train with his younger half brother. He just got back and wants to get back in touch with his family
