The first thing you need to really do is get tested before jumping to conclusions about yourself. I read that Hep C problems can be alleviated, and remember that chemotherapy is for cancer.
You and your family will get through this. Just be strong.
2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!
I'm not so much worried about myself as my step-dad and mother. I'm younger and stronger and more likely to suceed with treatment if I even have hepatitus c.
I know chemo is for cancer, I said that the side-effects of the treatments were some of the same things that happen with chemo (hair loss, fatigue, vomiting, and mental health problems). I want to ask a pharmacudical company more about the side-effects of PEGASYS (the treatment). The websites I checked may have been exaggerating or worst case scenario side-effects... I need to go back and check their credentials.
Thanks, Dex. My mother is pretty devout and until recent years so was my father.
I think you'll find that treatments get better with time and have progressed. You are best to contact experts in the field to get their opinions as well. Hopefully everything works out better in the end.
