Sound issues

Cant hear any sound from my pc anymore.. I havent been on in awhile just been on my 360 but I just got on it again today and I switched from my headphones to the speakers and I didnt hear anything so I restarted and then I looked for updates in control panel I have had this problem before but I forgot how the fix it.. im going to try to update the drivers, do what I can just post what you think I should do its an onboard asus mother board..

I'll point you to the exact location of the drivers you need if you give me the model of the motherboard. I'm also assuming this is under XP?

It is probably some c-media junk or something like that.

A8N32 sli deluxe socket 939 found a driver going to try it out but if it doesnt let me get the other links
