Dog the Bounty Hunter

Am I the only closet Dog fan? My hubby LOVES it, and I always refused to watch it. However, I did see it one day and I was hooked. He really does have a heart of gold under that really bad hair. And, though their family is a bit dysfunctional, at the same time they love each other and are an united front.
Just wondered if I am the only fan here.

I have never seen it, but I have heard from friends it is pretty good.

I don't watch any TV though, so I probably won't watch it ever.

I don't watch Dog with any regularity, but the few times I have watched it left me with a very good opinion of him. His famiy may have its issues, but what family doesn't? I would welcome folks like them to the neighborhood, oddities and all.

I like Dog, the show is very entertaining, but I can't seem to get past the fact that everyone on the show needs some fashion help

OH, yes, I would agree that they need fashion help. But, both of his sons have very nice smiles and seem like good guys. Dog truly does love his family, and truly cares about the criminals he deals with. When he captures them, he always gives them advice and wishes them the best. Both he and Beth have been in and out of jail in the past, so they truly know what it is like. I also like how they pray before they go out to hunt a fugitive. I really love this show.

I love what he does and he is good at it. I just hope that they don't send him to Mexico to jail. I mean how in the world can you punish someone who really was only doing his job and got a known dangerous criminal off the streets? Curious to see how this legal battle with Mexico turns out.

I read in another forum that he's being extradited to Mexico because he arrested somebody illegally there. I forget who it was, but it was a famous case. Have you heard about that?

I seem to recall that the entire hoopla had to do with a guy who was from a prominent family, and he was hiding out in Mexico to avoid sentenancing. The trouble began because the Mexican government says US bounty hunters cannot come into Mexico and pick up a fugitive, that in fact there is a process that has to be followed and that Dog did not do so. The whole thing strikes me as maybe worthy of a fine, but extradition seems a tad much. By the way, surely his show has legal advisors - most shows do. Who failed to check the fine points of Mexican law before they took on the case?

If the current mexico extradition doesn't send the rating up enough to challenge the nets nothing will.

So did he think he can just go into a foreign country and abduct somebody with no consequences? I think he'd probably have to file papers or produce a warrant before he just grabbed the guy.

I thought it was really weird. I watched it once and thought it was like COPS. xD

Well, if he's extradited to Mexico and is found guilty, it'll be all about the sentence.
