I personally thought this was going to blow. Much. And you know what? It was totally awesome, like Rocky Balboa was. Yeah, I would have preferred live action, but the visuals look pretty good regardless (what would have been really awesome is a melding of CGI for the turtles and live action for everyone else, but that would have been mighty expensive, me thinks.), the story is pretty decent and the fight scenes are great, though there weren't enough of them.
The movie has also lost some of the 80's feel that made the original ones so charming, but I'd say it is balanced out by the fact that these damned kids never watched the original movies or TV show anyways. Oh well.
8/10.
Lol. I put this in the wrong forum.

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today? Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection. Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!
I didn't have much of an expectation, but I thought it would be entertaining. I think I'm still going to wait for DVD. It should release quickly. All movies geared towards children always do better on DVD.
I'll wait for it on DVD, I really don't like how they made the turtles look in the movie but owell, I wasn't expecting it to be much like the old ones. Hopefuly they will have some cool original stuff for a bonus on the DVD.
