Some people didn't get the gist of the movie and reading the graphic novel would help you understand more. Apparently there is a fellow up in the works with which Alan Moore will have more input. If it happens this should really be over the top.

My daughter is obsessed with this movie. She's watched it so many times she actually recites all the lines as the movie goes along. I have yet to actually sit down and watch it.
