I watched "Until Death" the other night, and have to say it was pretty damn good. It stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as a burnt out drug addicted cop who gets shot and ends up in a coma. When he wakes up he decides to right all the wrongs he's done to people over the years. When did this guy learn how to act? http://imdb.com/title/tt0783598/
You are kidding me... Jean-Claude Van Damme actually "acted"? Usually, I cannot stand anything that he is in because he is such an awful actor because he is just showing his abs and fighting. His voice drives me nuts. The movie you describe doesn't sound too bad, though. Maybe I'll give him another try in this movie.
His performance was actually better than some of his co stars. There were a few obvious screwups, but what movie doesn't have them. Definitely not the typical Van Damme flick.
