The Addams Family

Perhaps people here are too young to remember the original series of The Addams Family? I loved it!! I saw that they release on DVD the first season, but when I went to buy it, it was sold out. My favorite character was Gomez! oh, and Cousin It! How about you?

Evidently you are too young to even appreciate the series the way it was done. It is actually very interesting and a great concept for that time. The movie is only the color and better effects result.

I concur as stated in my earlier post.

Oh, this brings back memories. I used to *love* the Addams Family. Morticia (who was the actress who played her? Carolyn Jones or something like that) was my idea of complete elegance, not to mention a hot date. And I enjoyed Thing, the mysterious hand sticking out of the box.

The movies had a few funny moments--I adored the young Christina Ricci as Wednesday--but they just couldn't live up to the original series.

I loved cousin It. I didn't know that it had come out on DVD. I will have to get this one. With my luck it will be sold out. Have you checked online for it. I have found that if something is sold out at the stores by me I usually can get it online somewhere.

I loved Gomez..............I didn't know that the show was on DVD, but oh well-it's a thing of the past now........the Addams Family rocks though
