We haven't gotten a Wii Mon May 21, 2007 5:23:03 AM#38222Perm Link
Is it really as big a deal as everyone says? We recently bought a used GameCube off ebay, and some games, and they seem to be keeping the troops occupied. So do I really need to spring for the Wii?
We haven't gotten one yet. I have one to many game consoles as it is. So we will probable wait for this one. I have heard it is alot of fun though and reasonably priced.
We haven't yet gotten a Wii, and I probably won't until the hype dies down a bit. I have heard it is SO much fun, and is a way to get exercise while playing games. But, I just can't come up with the reasoning to spend *so* much on it. Eventually, I am sure it will be in our household, though.
You don't NEED any gaming machine. If you don't feel the burning need to get one now, just wait until the priced drop (which they will). It's only a big deal to gamers and if it doesn't matter to you, then it doesn't.
Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?
I don't have one yet either...
We gave my spoiled little brother a bunch of money and gift cards around Christmas to get a Wii, and then there were none and then we had to wait forever and now they're here and he doesn't want one.
He says there's not enough games.
I guess he's content with his GameCube too...
I have my trusty SNES and still wanting an NES, Gameboy, and Xbox in this house. I need some Halo!
I'm seriously considering it. My Xbox 360 is having issues and Microsoft wants to charge me a shit load of money to repair it. I think I'm going to look to the community to perhaps help me repair it myself; If it can be repaired at all.
Well, then, after all your wonderful advice, I think we'll put that money toward something else. There are over 2700 gamecube games, so I guess we'll get the Wii when we've run through them. LOL
We were discussing it last night, and both of us realized... when do we have the TIME to play a new game system? Seriously, we don't have that extra time. The extra time that we do have should be spent being more productive. We already have a PS2, SNES and Nintendo DS that often sit... just gathering dust.
