Pizza for the first time. Old Sat Jun 30, 2007 9:40:56 AM #39639 Perm Link
I was half asleep, and my friend came up and handed me some pizza. I wasn't really paying attention, and I ate some. It was fucking good.

I feel bad for eating it though. Plus, the cheese made me kind of sick.

I can't imagine not being able to eat pizza. I'm sorry it made you sick, though. Do you have allergies to milk products, in general, or what's your reason for not having it prior to this?

Lactose intolerant, and I've been a vegan for years. Haha.

I was originally a vegetarian, but being lactose intolerant just made going vegan even easier. I would probably be vegetarian again, but since I haven't had meat in so long, it makes me sick if I eat it.

Pizza is one of those types of classic foods. You need to eat it at least once.

Ok...there are pills you can take to help you digest dairy so you could eat pizza now and then if you wanted. I know cows....they don't mind giving up milk....of course I only know Amish cows....

Peppers and apples.....best pizza....

I love pizza. I could not imagine never having eaten pizza but I guess if it makes you sick I would stay away from it also.

For certain reasons, I am (for the most part) against taking most pills.

I have tried the veggie cheese from the produce section and find they are now quite good. The swiss and the pepperjack are the best. The mozzarella has come a long way and is not bad but not excellent either.

Then I guess you aren't going to be eating pizza!

Apples on a pizza are not disgusting, they are great!

Aw great...I wasn't hungry, but now I am!
There are some good vegan cheeses out there, you just have to know where to look. I can't recall the name of our best selling one but I'll find out for ya.

Haven't you ever heard of vegetable oils? It's probably made with soy products.
