Nvidia 8600GTS And Linux Redraw Slow

I hate when companies can't even get their binaries correct.

It seems that my new 8600GTS has some problems in Linux. The screen redraw is horrible. It seriously is worse than my old X800... I think it is even worse than the plain vesa driver!

I'm running a fresh install of Kubuntu and installed the latest drivers with Envy. You can really notice the problem in Firefox because the redraw is really, really bad.

Anyone have a solution? I may just call Nvidia and complain about this. I had a 6600GT that works perfectly with these drivers. I'm amazed that the new cards suck so bad in Linux.
