linux,unix,mac,windows(ya right) well i prefer linux only prob is i cant play like half my games on it without a few hours of hacking.well i hate windows cuz you spend more time fixing it then freaken using it!.also the shit is slow.well what do you like? mac is built on unix o yeah did you hear about ibm's now comes with linux. and one more question have you ever heard of a mac gamer 0.o i havnt

If you're a gamer, use Windows. Even though it's frustrating to use sometimes, it's really the best one to use. Linux is good for other things, and Mac just sucks penis.

*Cough* I use Windows because I'm not allowed to use Linux. I've used it before and it seems a million times better than Windows, so I'm going to say Linux if for no other reason than anyone who truly likes Windows is fucked in the head.

They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I use Linux for my home server needs (file/print/test web server). I also use it on my secondary laptop, Linux is very good for multimedia tasks and can play almost any file fresh out of the install.

I use Windows for my main desktops, mainly for gaming and ease of use. IDEs in Windows are better, which is stupid to say the least given the fact that many programmers program for Linux.
