MAC vs PC/ EDGE vs QUAD BAND & TRI BAND.. GO!!

Im in the market(again) searching for a decent laptop and cell phone but, theres just too damn many of them to pick from. Any help or suggestions would be nice!

I was thinking about the new EDGE tech on newer cell phones was intriging but its still somewhat "underdeveloped". As far as laptops go I was thinking of an ibook but wasnt too sure about them.

PC vs MAC!
EDGE vs QUAD BAND/TRI BAND

I'll take a Mac over a PC for a laptop. Not for a desktop.
