I was vacuuming the bedroom floor before I moved out, so I stacked up all my suitcases (like five), a chair, two garbage bags of junk, and my tv on the bed (I didn't want to block off the hallway) CUZ I R STOOPID!
In hindsight, I realize this was a very, very hair-brained thing to do because my tv (the cherry topping of the pile) was in such a precarious position that when I accidentally bumped the bed with the vacuum cleaner the tv rolled twice, hit the edge of the bed, FLEW off, and hit the closet door mirror.
You cannot even FATHOM the horror of watching that.
AND GUESS WHAT?!
Nothing got broken. My tv and the mirror are both still intact!
Wow you were lucky. My boyfriend, in a fit of rage, took the tv that his brother just brought over for him and threw it down 4 stairs (of the deck) and on to the ground. Tv still works. Of course it was an older model tv too.
I am glad to see that your TV or mirror didn't break. Not only that but isn't breaking a mirror mean bad luck? So you were lucky all around on that one.
don't worry, they are just saving the bad luck to hit you when it hurts most, like instead of walking away from your friend wrapping their car around a tree with you in the front passenger seat, I have to say I have personal expirence with that, and I was lucky enough to walk away with a red mark across my chest and a little cut on my finger when put my hand threw the front window not actually believing what just happened...I just hope it never happens to anyone, that is as scary as it is hard to believe when it happens
i got into a bad car crash tooo but like i'm traumatized i hyperventalate if sombody drives fast but anyway you has got 2 b the luckiest person in the world i mean your tv didnt break and neither the mirror LUCKY!!!!
