RAM being used

Why is it that my comp is using only 896Mb of RAM when there is 1024MB in it? I know it using 32MB(32-bit) for the OS but what about the rest?

The OS doesn't use 32MB for itself because it is 32-bit. That doesn't matter.

You probably have onboard video that is using 128MB. 1024-128=896.

Makes sense. I know my on board video is SiS, but how do I edit its usage?

Go into the BIOS and there is most likely a section for that.

Or disable it and get a real graphics card.

my motherboard wont let mne disable my onbord graphics card it sucks....

whats your specs? Is your chipset SIS, ATI, Nividia? You should be able to disable it. Whats the BIOS program called?
