Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today? Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection. Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!
I thought it was leaps and bounds better than Begins. The characters were developed so less time with BS origin stories. The action was much better, as the filming was less sporadic, the acting was better, since they got Maggie in there instead of Ms. Cruise, Eckhart was amazing, and Ledger gave the best performance of his career.
Its not who a person is in the inside, but what he does that defines him.
You know, a lot of people thought the gravelly voice he donned with the suit was lame. I kind of appreciated it though. I usually recognize people very easily by their voices, so I thought the snarling voice was a cool and a useful addition to his Batman identity.
I guess it's kind of been a pet peeve of mine that nobody sees through superheroes' stupid disguises. In Batman's taking on a different accent as his alter ego, it distances him even more from Bruce Wayne. It's great addition to his disguise! And besides, Superman practically does the same thing... Clark Kent practically has a stutter and his voice is meek and softer. Superman's voice however, is much stronger and sure.
