The Logitech Wave Pro Desktop is the next generation of Logitech products targeted at the consumer market. It is a good refresh of their older MX line of products.

Do the media buttons pop one of those annoying on-screen notifiers that take preference away from whatever program you are using, or are they done like on the G series where they just do it in the background?

Also, real shame about the non standard key layout. I know many (myself included) who cannot stand when the keys between the number pad and main keys are muddled with.

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today?
Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection.
Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!

Lots and lots of extra things, But i am sure that's great for image editors, with the zoom buttons on the keyboard.
And i also like the fact that the keys are curved inward somewhat.

I played with the Wave keyboard by itself the other day, and I'm kind of on the fence. Good for typing, I'm guessing, but I don't think it would be very multipurpose.
