The coolest cheat for the Genesis version can only be done on real Genesis hardware.

Beat the hell out of it while it is on.

If it doesn't freeze, it may say "CONGRAULATIONS YOU HAVE FOUND THE SPECIAL LEVEL SELECT SCREEN" or something along those lines, then you can select a level, just as if you put in the level select code (B, A, Right, A, C, Up, Down, A). I always found it fairly entertaining, and almost bought another Genesis to do this. I discovered this on my Model I genesis (I think actually two Model I's) with 2 copies of the game.
