I must announce something Thu Jul 15, 2004 5:17:58 AM#9306Perm Link
Maybe it's repetition, but I've fallen out of the habit of watching Inuyasha. This will probaby only last until Cartoon Network shows new episodes, but I'm thinking that that may not be the case. Now I only watch Inuyasha on weekdays until "Case Closed" is on (that show kicks ass!) and then I go on to watch Lupin and then I change it to Garfeild and Freinds but that's another story...
Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today? Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection. Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!
umm....you may have not noticed this but CN have been showing new episodes of Inuyashu for the past few months every Saturday at midnight....kinda sux if you didnt notice that cuz you missed a lot of episodes already. Oh well better me late telling you this then never i suppose.
Sometimes I have that problem too, except I read really fast so it's not so much of a problem. The subs are more true to the manga and the japanese seiyuu have more emotion in their voices. Except I was pissed to the point of no return when I saw Kikyo's Kiss and Kagome's Voice.... They totally changed the ending! Inuyasha says that he values Kagome as Kagome and not as a second Kikyo, he likes to see her smile, and that her smell is nice. She didn't hear any of it cause she had fallen asleep because she was exausted from being tied up by Kikyo and watching Kikyo and Inu kiss. Poor Hyperion had to endure my ravings all day. ^_^
I'm special then, I can see both the words and pictures ^_^
I hate the dub, especially how it's become lately. They're not even trying to put any emotion in their voices! It's so bland and dry, they're butchering the whole show! ;_; The japanese episodes have more emotion and urgancy to the characters voices. You can really feel what's going on and stuff.
Cartoon Network is taking too damn long to air the episodes *growls* even I am losing interest in tuning in every week because of just that...ONCE A WEEK! It's going to take forever to get up to 105! Then it'll be another year before we get any more...it's so unfair!
Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?
I really hate most dub voices. I hate Richard Cox as Inuyasha. He even sucked when he was Ranma. I can't remember who was the first voice of Ranma, but he was good. I liked him even though it was a dub.
I'm so lame, I can barely stay up till eleven. I get up at five in the morning and am currently running the house alone so I have an excuse... sort of.
When you saw the dubbed episode of 'Kikyo's Kiss and Kagome's voice' was it on Cartoon Network? Usually when a movie is shown on tv scenes are removed for time. When I was comparing the X-Men movie on dvd with the X-Men movie playing on FX the dvd kept falling behind. Then I realized it was because the FX version was cut. So even if I were to fastforward to the next scene the FX version would soon skip ahead of the dvd version.
OoPart: an artifact that "seems" to be out of context with the surrounding evidence.
Ex.: A fossilized footprint of a human child containing a fossil of a crushed trilobite. Pronounced O-Part.
I believe "Kagome's Voice and Kikyou's Kiss" was an hour long in Japan. Cartoon Network didn't cut much. I have the original sub and it has the same scenes in it =P The american version just split it.
Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?
Yea, I know it suxs ass BIG time that CN is moving so slow...and I've seen the subs of Inuyasha, and I do have to admit, the Japanese voices are alot better. Also if pay attention, Kagome's skin is alot little in the subs, and her hair is actually black/blue, also Inuyasha looks more like that of a hanyou to me, his eyes are bigger and show more of what he's thinking about.
You can also see small differences in the rest of the IY group in the subs compared to the dub.
