Huawei may not be a household name in the US, but the P8 lite combines a nice form factor with excellent battery life and a minimal Android skin. If you can deal with a potential lack of updates, it is a good buy.

Doing phones now? Pretty cool. One thing the Chinese manufacturers are going to have to do start doing is somewhat longer term update plans, though; especially if they ever want to get into the upper-midrange and flagship markets.
