That's right. <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=68c48dad-bc34-40be-8d85-6bb4f56f5110&displaylang=en">The download is almost ready</a>. Windows XP is now at SP3. And yet, does anyone care? Ubuntu 8.04 is coming in 3 days!
That's not the best part. The overview has two files for download. A PDF and whatever a XPS file is. I'm assuming XPS is Microsoft's answer to PDF.

So the XPS is bigger than the PDF. Nice job Microsoft.
However, I disagree with the "meh" attitude towards SP3. This at the very least shows a huge majority of people who have shied away from Vista due to it being Vista that Microsoft is at least willing to compromise. While they won't give you the super features Vista has, they also won't dump support for the operating system any time soon.
