Motorola Cliq XT

Does anyone else have this phone with T-Mobile? Here's the story.......

It currently runs Android 1.6. Motorola had the update to 2.1 planned for Q2 of this year. They announced nothing of the status of the update until well after Q2 was over. When they finally made the announcement, the update was pushed back to Q3/early Q4. Motorola is incredibly lame. I'm sure T-Mobile has some part to play in it as well. Verizon phones received the update shortly after the 2.1 release.

I just wanted to put that out there.....

You can't really trust companies to support their older handsets that well. Samsung is a perfect example of promises gone wrong.

I suppose so. I don't understand why they just don't let folks know that they have no intention of supporting it. At people could then make an informed decision whether or not to purchase the product. If that were the case, then I'd see nothing wrong.

Think about it from the company's point of view... Promise something to make the device sell better and then don't bother doing it.
