Pokemon: The Ongaku Region

Cabella looks at the two, and gives a short nod. Totodile leaps off Cabella's back, and looks at her in concern. She tries to ignore Totodile's worried gaze, but fails. With a quiet laugh, she kneels down and places a hand on her pokemon's head. "No worries. Okay? Because what does worrying do, hm?" She gives a crooked smile. Totodile looks down, understanding. "Correct. Worrying will get us nowhere. So we gotta keep our heads up at all time!" And when she laughs and throws a fist in the air, Totodile does the exact same.

She looks over at Voss and smiles, and then pulls out her own sleeping bag. Chuckling, she says, "Look at that. Now you don't have to worry about me invading your personal space while we sleep!" She beams as she rolls out her sleeping bag.

Voss waits till Cabella is asleep and gets up and goes for a walk... he hike up the path near the caves but he doesn't go by the caves....
"Hmmm i want to make Cabella happy... whats this im feeling" he wonders...
"RRioulu" the pokemon says finding him... Voss hugs Rioulu..."Ahhh so you followed me huh buddy i should have known" he says hugging the pokemon..."Sorry just thinking well lets get back to camp before she wakes up....

He gets up but hears something not so far off as Rioulu's ears perk up...Voss follows and stays hidden and see's a boy on a Salemence...
"Damn it...get Bennet to another cave.. what we are looking for isn't in this area..." he says to an underling....
"Wait...Bennet thats Cabella's dads name... and thats the boy on the salemence she came across before..." he thinks as he barges out of hiding..."HEY YOU WHERE IS BENNET ROSE" he shouts

The boy looks at him..."Hmmm well in a couple of seconds... he'll be long gone from this area" he says
"Why you... " Voss says running in the direction of the underling but the salemence gets in his way...."You really think i'd let you stop us... your the boy with that beautiful girl weren't you... this is perfect...SALAMENCE...FLAMETHROWER" he says
As Voss and Rioulu barely dodge it
Voss throws out duskull and elekid as the are all behind a large tree..."ok guys we'll get through this" he says

"Keep up the flamethrower Salamence...your pathetic. ..this pokenav says your a registered trainer Voss Vordhees....but your cowering in fear...why does that girl even travel with you" he says

Voss looks at his pokemon...rioulu and elekid are mad but duskull is scared but when he insulted Voss duskull got brave...it steps out...its eyes glow blue and so does Salamence and it stops...
"Salamence what are you doing flamethrower. .." he says but Salamence can't...
Voss looks at duskull...."great Duskull you learned disable....now lets show him some teamwork. ..rioulu and elekid double quick attack" he says as the pokemon glow and speed up side by side and ram...Salamence and it stumbled back...
"Elekid thunderwave" he says trying to paralyze Salamence. ..as the pokemon roars in pain. ..his trainer looks on..."Salamence don't let these bugs bother you use Hypervoice" he says as the force bloes rioulu and elekid away. ...they fly back pretty far. ..and head for a cliff
"ELEKID...RIOULU. ..NOOO WATCH OUT" he screams as he runs after them while..rioulu grabs a branch and grabs Elekid who went over the cliff.
"Elekkk" elekid says holding on...."Rioou" rioulu responded holding on. ..but its grip is weak and it cracks as they fall Voss catches them...the two pokemon sigh in relief.....

"Salamence lets get out of here...he's nothing. ..Joey finish them off" he says to a underling who summons a fearow...
Elekid is nervous as it sees a fearow flying...."kid...kiiid...ele" it says panicked
"Its ok elekid. ..Rioulu ready to play" voss says smiling...and so does rioulu as they remember when Voss use to hang upsidedown on swings and swing rioulu...
Elekid is cconfused but they start swinging...and build momentum and they are slingshot into the air...Riolu lands and duskull comes near checking on Voss ....Elekid is still airborne. ....."use drill peck fearow" Joey orders as fearow heads for Voss...
"Elekid. ..use thundershock"....he says as Elekid ends up ramming fearow then shocking it badly. ...
Fearow drops...and elekid is now drained. ..so is the other's. ...
"WHAT FEAROW RETURN. ..GO Krookdile" he says

(I'll wait to post then until you're done!)

Voss can't think of anything. ..the fully evolved ground and dark type is intimidating
Duskull and rioulu try to get in front
"Krookdile shadowball" he says hitting duskull knocking him unconscious. ..
"Duskull return" he says

"Krookdile stone edge" he commanded as stones wrap around its body and hit rioulu. ..
"Oh no rioulu" voss screams

It had started to rain. Downpour. Out of nowhere is a small blue pokemon. It smashes into Krookodile. The large red pokemon is caught off guard. Clearly surprised as it is knocked onto its side, freeing Riolu. And the small blue pokemon lands on its feet, and lightning flashes to reveal its narrowed eyes and fierce expression. Totodile. And when another flash of lightning goes off, Cabella can be seen standing behind Totodile - her expression just as terrifying.

The underling quickly glances from Totodile to Cabella, unsure of how to react. He is frozen. Scared. Capturing his breath, the underling shouts, "Krookodile! Get up and use Crunch on that little thing!" He points at Totodile.

Cabella, completely calm and soaking wet due to the downpour, says nothing. She stares directly at Krookodile, as does Totodile. Totodile begins to glow that bright red. But, it's a heavier aura. Even heavier than when they had battled Roach. Webs of cracks begin to form beneath both Totodile and Cabella. And just as Krookodile charges and goes to bite down on Totodile, Totodile seemed to disappear with another flash of lightning.

And suddenly, Krookodile has collapsed. The underling stares in terror. Totodile stands behind Krookodile. The real Totodile. Whom had used a powerful Scratch attack on Krookodile's back. The underling returns his pokemon, and growls before running off. "I'm not going to hear the end of this." He hisses under his breath.

Cabella looks at Voss, and her fierce expression is replaced by that of another brilliant smile. "You okay?" She asks Voss. Totodile also seemed to return to normal, jumping up and down in joy and grinning.

"Yea...I'm ok...I'm sorry I think they got away and moved your father they had him here in these caves...we can check them out in the morning for clues." He says

"I tried battling...the guy with salamence but that's one powerful pokemon"

Cabella is silent for a moment, her hands forming quick fists at the thought of her father having been taken. But, she relaxes and nods, "Yeah. He's definitely something. But like you had said, we'll get stronger! And he won't know what hit him when we do!" She then smiles once more and holds her hand out for Voss, "Come on, let's get back to camp and get some sleep." The rain had stopped. But, Cabella was completely drenched, making her pajamas stick to her body like an extra layer of chilling skin. She shivers slightly but laughs it off.

Voss tries not to look as the wet clothes revealed her body...."thanks for the help..." he says as they reach the camp

"Hey, don't thank me, it's Totodile you should thank!" Cabella laughs as she runs her fingers through her wet hair, and then wringing some of the water out. "Totodile heard all the noise and woke me up. And we rushed away from camp to find you in quite the situation." She then tilts her head somewhat as she looks at Voss. "And I should be thanking you, actually. You stood up and fought. You didn't run away or just leave those assholes be." She shrugs, smiling brightly. With that, she hugs Voss. "So thanks!"

Voss blushes a little...."Oh it was nothing" he says as they release the embrace...
Voss gets in his sleeping bag and Cabella gets into her own.... Rioulu sleeps right next to Voss



They wake up and Voss has one of those instant dinners right next to Cabella nice and hot for her....
He's with Rioulu... "think she'll like my cooking" he says knowing all you have to do is add water but Rioulu smiles..."RIoulu" it says giving a thumbs up....
They move from Cabella for a moment...quietly
Voss then looks at the spot they are in..."This is a good spot..now lets work on that attack" he says to Rioulu
They both approach at tree..."Ok rioulu do like I do" he says as he hits the tree with an open palm strike...Rioulu does the same...."Good...now focus... put your energy into it and then strike" he says
Rioulu closes its eyes and it glows blue...but the blue energy fades as he strikes the tree..."RIII" the pokemon says upset....
"Its ok Rioulu... keep at it" Voss says as he washes up in the river....



Voss had finished washing up 15 minutes ago...the tree was dented but it wasn't hit with the right attack...
"Ok try this rioulu...close your eyes.." he says and Rioulu listens....
"Ok...gather your energy..." he continued as Rioulu begins to glow blue....it is about to open its eyes...."NO!!! keep your eyes closed....now strike when you feel its right" he says
Rioulu strike the tree and the tree is left with a large palm like crater while the blue energy surrounds it....
Voss jumps up..."YES!!! you execute force palm" he says
Rioulu looks at its hand..and turns to Voss..."RIOOUULLLUUUU" it sings as it is happy...

Cabella had been watching in the background, unnoticed, for the past 20 minutes or so. She had lost track after a while, as she had dozed off for a bit. She sits on the stump of a tree, and claps her hands. "That was great you guys!" She laughs, happy for them. She gets up and cracks her knuckles and then her neck. "And thanks for the meal by the way! Though, I'm still not full." She laughs. "But that doesn't matter! We need to get to those caves pronto!" She points in the direction of the mountains.

Totodile is at Cabella's side, nodding. She has her bag strapped to her back, and had cleaned up their camp. She was set and ready to go. She needed to figure out why those idiots needed her father. What were they planning? But. . . who even were they?

"YOU READY TO GO EXPLORING IN DARK CAVES!?" Cabella shouts, throwing both of her fists into the air just as Totodile does.

Voss runs behind a tree...
"CABELLA. ..HOW LONG WERE YOU THERE...DID YOU SEE ME WASHING UP" he screams as he was in his boxer's and t-shirt
He quickly gets completely dressed.

He pulls out his pokeball..."elekid...come out" he says as the electric type emerged
"Great you'll be our source of light" he says

"No. I did NOT." Cabella rolls her eyes. "I'm not THAT big of a creep." She scoffs. She looks at Elekid and nods. "Alright, it seems like we're ready!" She grins, and starts to lead the way towards the caves. They hike up the mountains, Cabella full of energy. She bounds over rocks and spins. Totodile follows her every movement.

Soon enough, they arrive at the entrance of the cave that would take them through and to Cobblestone City. But, it's also the cave where they had been near last night. Cabella takes in a deep breath before gesturing for Voss and Elekid to take the lead, seeing as Elekid was the source of light.

Elekid marched in confidently...he liked being out his pokeball besides the use of a battle...
As the look around Voss notices abandoned equipment. ..
"I wonder what they were trying to find...Cabella what does your dad do what use would he be to a evil organization" he asked

"My dad does research. I'm not even completely sure as to what he does research on exactly. . . but he knows more than any professor alive." Cabella replies, making her way over to the equipment. It had a weird symbol on it. But, she couldn't make out what it was. It was scuffed, like a bad cover up. Cabella moves away from the equipment and starts to look around the perimeter. There were several holes that had been dug up. . . and several in the cave wall. But, there was no clue or sign as to what the purpose is.

She makes her way back over to Voss and rubs the back of her neck. "Let's just keep going. . . there's nothing else here." She sighs.

Voss keeps moving...elekid lighting the way....the rogenrolla and zubat and other cave pokemon are keeping their distance. ..also seeing a water type around

"So. . . Voss. . . you know more about me than I do about you. Like, family wise." Cabella says, walking beside Voss. Her steps are in synch with his as she clasps her hands behind her back. She glances up at him, arching a brow. She was really interested in knowing more about him.

"My family....yea my mother is the shinnoh league champion her name is Cynthia and my father wasn't in my life and my mom never talked about him much...but he was a criminal to be completely honest. ..he was leader of team galactic his name was Cyrus. ..a brilliant man I heard but he was misguided. ..it seems he actually defied space and time by bringing dialga and palkia to our world and controlled them for a moment" he says

"My family....yea my mother is the shinnoh league champion her name is Cynthia and my father wasn't in my life and my mom never talked about him much...but he was a criminal to be completely honest. ..he was leader of team galactic his name was Cyrus. ..a brilliant man I heard but he was misguided. ..it seems he actually defied space and time by bringing dialga and palkia to our world and controlled them for a moment" he says as he walked he never told anyone who his dad was

"Woah." Cabella gasps, her eyes widening somewhat. She looks down at Totodile, who also seemed quite surprised. She would have never guessed any of that. She smiles somewhat at Voss, and says, "There are times when I feel like the bad guys are just misunderstood. . . I mean, they all have their reasons for doing what they do. Just like every other person in this world." She shrugs and laughs. "Though, I still don't approve." Her attention drifts forward, and she cups her hands behind her head. She then stares down at Voss' hand for a moment, and then takes hold of it.

He smiled. .."thanks....this is a tricky cave though all the pokemon are scared of us



Then rioulu stopped them feeling that more than the cave pokemon were watching them. Voss has learned to trust rioulu's fox like intuition. ..he listened. ..then pulled Cabella close to himself as a slash attack cuts down a boulder that she waa next to.
Voss sees the speedy pokemon heading towards rioulu
"Rioulu Endure" he says as rioulu glows and withstands the slash attack. ..
That stopped the pokemon long enough to see its a pawniard

Its in fighting stance.. "niard.. pawn.. PAWN PAWNIARD" he says speaking to them and signals for them to leave. ...
Elekid is upset but notices all the scared pokem behind pawniard....
"He must be this caves protectot.. .its rare to see a steel type in a cave....it probably thinks we're with those bad men" he says

Cabella looks from Voss to the Pawniard. Her eyes seemed to flicker. Light up. She could feel herself blush, though, by being so close to Voss. She clears her throat, as if telling him she needed to be let go. But she doesn't wait for him to do anything. Instead, Cabella wriggles free from Voss' grip and makes her way over to the Pawniard. She smiles at it, kneeling down. Strangely, it seemed. . . calm, as Cabella maintains eye contact with it. In a way, their eyes seemed to glow the same within the dark cave.

With a gentle laugh, Cabella rests a hand on Pawniard's head. The other pokemon behind Pawniard seemed to not reallly know how to react. They just watched. Cabella takes in a deep breath, and laughs, "You guys must be frightened, huh?" She tilts her head. "But you don't have to worry about us." She warmly smiles. "We're definitely not with those men. Actually, those men who were here. . . they have my dad."

There is a moment of silence before Pawniard moves away from Cabella and dashes off. The other pokemon continue to watch. A second later, Pawniard returns, holding something. It hands it to Cabella. Cabella takes it with a subtle, "Thanks" and then begins to examine the item. It's a piece of paper. It's torn. But, the words 'AEON HUNTERS' are printed on the top.

"Aeon Hunters. . ." Cabella whispers to herself, brows knitting together. She looks at Pawniard and smiles once more, "Thank you very much~ But you don't have to be scared any more. Those men are gone. He scared them away!" She points at Voss. "So you should all thank him." She chuckles. And she watches as all of the pokemon rush forward and towards Voss, tackling him to the ground in a pile hug.

Pawniard is the only one who doesn't hug Voss. ..when cabella says they have her dad he looks into her eyes seeing she hasthe same kind face as the man who had hhelped him.
(Flashback )

Pawniard alone is fighting off the pokemon of the Aeon hunters but he is tired and there are so many of them...
The boy with the Salamence has his men terrorize the other pokemon so they don't interfere with their plans.
The boy summons a charizard...."charizard this pawniard is getting in our way ...flamethrower now" he ordered as charismatic hits pawniard with the attack...its super effective but pawniard stands barely.
"Hmm hasn't had enough as the other pokemon look on...Charizard one more time full power flamethrower" he says as charizard unleashed the full power flamethrower. ...a man jumps in the way and protects pawniard with his own body...as pawniard looks up he sees the kind eyes of Bennet Rose..."you'll be ok buddy" he says smiling even though he's burned.
Bennett gets up.. "YOU MAY BE FORCING ME TO DECRYPT THESE CAVES BUT I WONT STAND IDLY BY AS YOU HURT THESE POKEMON. .." he says jumping up and striking charizard in a spot in its neck that knocks it out...
"What...well that's expected of Bennett Rose...you know pokemon physiology well...charizard return" the boy said.
Bennett looks at him with determined eyes showing that if this continued he'd fight to the death even though his pokemon were taken.. all except his shaymin which got away.
"Men fall back leave the pokemon alone" the boy says turning and leaving for another area of the cave.
Pawniard was shocked.. Bennett looks at the pokemon. ."I have to go with them but here you go" he says giving him a ultra potion and some food before leaving
(Flashback over )

Pawniard begins to cry hugging cabella the surprise causes one of her pokeballs to fall...
Pawniard thinks for a second. ..he hugs Cabella one more time then walks to the pokeball presses thw button and goes inside if it..

Cabella is shocked. She watches as the pokeball shakes, moving in jolted motions. Left and right. Left and right. The cave was strangely silent. Suddenly, the pokeball comes to a stop, and Cabella bends over to pick it up. She smiles brightly, looking over at Voss and quietly laughing. "Looks like we have another friend~" She chimes. Totodile leaps up and town in excitement, and Cabella gives a hearty laugh.

There was definitely something about her. Something that other pokemon. Other trainers. Just can't fully comprehend. There's a powerful aura to Cabella. A genuine glow that is reflected through her eyes. And it intensifies as she grins at Voss, giving him a thumbs up.

Voss smiles. "Congratulations. You caught a pawniard" he says returning the thumbs up....
They continue to walk through the cave....
"I always wanted a pawniard. . Treat it well its a great steel type. ..I guess it wasn't meant to be" he says.
They get near the end of the cave with the cave pokemon guiding them...but its blocked off by a couple if huge boulders. ..
"What now cobblestone is beyond the exit..." he says touching the boulder. ..

"Hm. . . I got it!" Cabella flashes a wide grin. She releases her newly captured Pawniard, and rests a hand on its head. "Look at that, you're already going to be a wonderful help!" She laughs. "Alright Pawniard, use Slash on those boulders! GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT!" She shouts, pointing at the massive rocks.

"Pawn." The pokemon nods, taking a step back. It then proceeds to strike the boulders full force with slash. Repeatedly. Everything is still for a moment, and then the boulders all explode into bits of rubble. Cabella and Pawniard give each other a high five, and she then returns the pokemon to its pokeball.

"Let's go!" Cabella calls out, both fists in the air as they exit the cave. As soon as they step out, her stomach growls. But, she can see Cobblestone City in the distance below the mountain. "When we get there, let's find some place to eat!" She laughs.

" of course. ..a place with good pokemon food to" he says checking his pokenav.
There was a restaurant around called sylan's and it catered to both pokemon and people.

Voss shuts his pokenav... he memorized the route to the restaurant. .m

Upon arriving he lets out duskull to eat. ..rioulu and elekid are chowing down
" Cabella. ..how's your wound and you never told me what happened. ....also do you know who the gym leader of this town is he says
Then turns to the server. .."we'll have some of your world famous pasta with grilled chicken" he says ordering

Cabella fiddles with the straw of her glass of water. She sits across from Voss, rocking back and forth slightly in her chair. She looks at him, thinking about ignoring his questioning of her wounds. But, she lightly smiles before answering, "I feel great thanks to you~" She laughs, nodding once. "And I'd rather not talk about what had happened, please." She sighs.

She thinks for a moment, trying to remember if her father had ever said anything about the Cobblestone City gym leader. After a moment, Cabella shakes her head, "I guess it'll be a surprise for the both of us!" She laughs. Cabella then looks over to see all of her pokemon eating. Pawniard had seemed timid at first around the others, but Totodile was quick to get Pawniard in with the rest of the group.

"It's nice to see them all happy." Cabella smiles.

Voss is stuffed he sits and relaxes....
Rioulu sits with a overly fat belly ..."Rioulu. .ri ri" it says craddling its belly laying back to back with a fat totodile....

"This remunds me of when my mom Claire won the sinnoh championship and we went out to eat"

A hotel manager heard him say his mom was Claire and he and his workers rushed them.
"Oh my the son of Claire and his girl have to stay at my special couples room free of charge...
Before he could say she's not my girlfriend they dragged them to a on bed special suite free of charge and left.

Cabella looks around the room in complete awe. Her wide eyes rest on the bed, and she charges forward before belly flopping onto it. She laughs, rolling off the bed and onto the floor. Cabella rushes over to the window and pulls back the curtains. The view of the city is absolutely beautiful! She glances over at Voss and grins from ear to ear. "This room is amazing!" She laughs, making her way over to Voss and grabbing his hands. She spins in several circles with him, giggling.
