Pokemon: The Ongaku Region

Totodile had followed Voss, and leaps back just as an orb of energy started to form in front of him. Out of curiosity, Totodile looks closer, and sees that it is actually a miniature. . . planet?

Cabella's eyes open, and all becomes still in the room. The small planet that had formed in front of Totodile disappears, and Cabella blinks, her glowing purple eyes once more returning to their regular color. Cabella is frozen. Paralyzed. She stares blankly at the wall behind Voss, and then breaks down, grasping onto her head as the tears stream down her face. She is shaking uncontrollably, and Totodile looks at her in complete concern.

"Are you ok" Voss says holding her

Cabella shakes her head twice, clinging onto Voss as she tries to stop the tears. She takes a deep, quivering, breath, and then starts to somewhat relax. She closes her eyes for a moment, her breathing starting to settle. She doesn't shake as bad, and opens her eyes. Her heart no longer rattled in her chest.

"I'm done with sleeping. . ." Cabella croaks, frowning. She pulls away from Voss, "But you need to sleep. Y-you have an important battle tomorrow."

"No its ok..I won't sleep..you might slip back into that world" he says

"Voss. Really. You need to sleep." Cabella scolds, using the palms of he hands to wipe away the remaining tears. She takes in another ragged breath, "I'll be fine. I can watch television." She grabs the remote and flicks on the TV. "See? So go. Please. You don't need to stay up for me."

Voss stays up the rest of the night

next day

(Albion)"you ok Voss i knew you'd challenge me again but are you prepared" he asked as Voss is falling asleep on the field

"Huh...ahh yea I'm fine. ..go...Elekid" he says

Cabella couldn't even watch. She sits in the stands, feeling terrible. "This is all my fault." She mutters, frowning to herself. Totodile looks at Cabella, shaking his head.

Albion laughs..."Really Voss. ..are you going to show me a fiery spirit like Cabella" he says summoning Bastiodon...
Voss just looks on...
"Sorry to disappoint you but I don't have that spirit...but I know someone who does...Elekid use leer" he says as Bastiodon begins to glow red..."Metal sound" Albion says
The rings hit elekid. .."brace yourself. ..and use leer"
Elekid has its guard up and uses leer again.
"Bastiodon iron head"
"Elekid dodge and use leer" he orders again. ..Albion smiles. .."use thrash" he commanded. ..as Bastiodon went crazy ramming into Elekid...and elekid screams...as it is rammed into a rock...as it attempts to stand it is rammed again...but elekid refuses to stay down..."I'm impressed Voss your elekid can take a lot of punishment but once thrash starts no one can stop Bastiodon" he says
"You know I may be sleepy but I remember saying i know someone with a fiery spirit. ..and I didn't mean Cabella. ...I meant my elekid. .." he says as Bastiodon gets closer to ram elekid again
"Brace yourself elekid. ..I believe in you" Voss says encouraging elekid. ..
With that elekid braces itself. .."ELEEEE!!!!" It says as to Albion's shock Bastiodon is stopped in its tracks. ...
"Push forward Bastiodon" he says...as the pokemon tries elekid begins to glow...and slowly becoming larger....
"Its evolving. ..." Albion says surprised
Soon what is holding Bastiodon back is an Electabuzz


Voss smiles. .."welcome to the team Electabuzz ...now use strength" Voss says as electabuzz lifts the large Bastiodon. .."Bast...Bastiooodon" the pokemon says surprised
"Now electabuzz its underbelly is exposed. ...use DYNAMIC PUNCH" he says as electabuzz gets a white electricity like energy around its arm and it uppercuts Bastiodon. ..sending the pokemon a small distance. .but knocking it out.
Albion returns Bastiodon. .."amazing you pulled off a win" he says smiling readying another pokeball.

Cabella sits, smiling at what she had witnessed. "Finally, Voss seemed to have at least learned one lesson. And it is pretty clear that he's a bit more. . .tactical. . . compared to me." She chuckles, rocking back and forth slightly on her spot in the stands. Totodille jumps up and down, excited. He was very glad that Elekid had evolved.

Roggenrolla is next....
Voss sees Electabuzz is tired so he pulls out his pokeball "Electabuzz return" he says returning electabuzz and throws out palpitoad....
"Ahhh a water type...that's new..roggenrolla use flash Canon" Albion says as roggenrolla jumps up powering up flash Canon. ..

"Palpitoad supersonic" Voss says as the small pokemon puffs up its chest and lets out a screech...and as the flash canon is about to fire the sound waves confuse roggenrolla who fires the attack at the ground gets blown back by the force...
"Palpitoad water pulse" he commanded. .as palpitoad jumps up into the air and takes a deep breath then released the blue energy ball that hit the confused roggenrolla directly knocking him out. ..
"PALPITOADDD" the pokemon says doing a little dance

Albion laughs. .."two in a row congrats...roggenrolla return.." he says as Voss returns palpitoad. .."go Murkrow" Voss says releasing the crow pokemon as Albion released Solrock...
"Another new face Voss don't disappoint me" he says

Cabella wasn't really focusing on the battle. When it comes down to it, Cabella realizes she is actually quite bored. Cabella was definitely someone who can't watch battles, but instead has to be a part of them to find them. . . interesting. She watches, though, and at the same time thinks about how her battle with Voss would turn out. She still felt like he had a bit more to learn, though. What about Keegan? Cabella had a gut feeling he was now two steps ahead. . . but, she actually didn't care. She could care less about catching up to Keegan when her father is still out there with those freaks.

She taps her foot repeatedly and rapidly against the floor, a sign of impatience. She wanted this battle to end. She felt really rude for feeling that way. . . but her father is out there. And it made her feel suddenly sick.

"Solrock flamethrower"
"Sol" the rock sun pokemon blew a stream of flames that came close to striking Murkrow but Voss Murkrow was too fast for it...
"Murkrow use double team" Voss says as Murkrow circles the ceiling of the arena with 10 copies.
"Nice try but guess we'll have to attack them all...use rock slide" Albion says to counter. ..as the white portals open and the rocks begin taking out some of the copies Albion followed up the falling rocks with a flamethrower. ..
"Quickly Murkrow use night slash on the rocks" Voss commands...as with that order Murkrow listens...breaking the rocks with night slash as it made dust and debris interrupt the fireblast...but there is a large cloud of smoke...Albion looks closely to see if the attack hit its target. ...
"Murkrow. ..Nightshade" Voss says as waves of dark energy hit solrock through the smoke knocking it out.
The dust settles showing that Murkrow was indeed hit....and is burned as it burns up and takes more damage.
Albion is getting upset. ..and tossed out Lunatone..."stone edge" he called out as the rocks swirl around Lunatone and then directly hit a weakened Murkrow. ..knocking it unconscious.
"You did well Murkrow. ..return. .." he says as he tosses out Palpitoad. ...
"Water-gun"
Palpitoad takes a deep breath and fires a jet of water....
~Lunatone dodge and use psywave~ Albion says as the waves hit Palpitoad knocking him back...
"Get up palpitoad. .." Voss says. .."pal..pi toad" the pokemon groans getting up.
"Use watergun" Voss says
"That won't work. ...Lunatone dodge and use psybeam" Albion says
"You didn't let me finish. ..aim watergun at the ceiling. .."
Palpitoad does so and the water splashes on the ceiling and rains down on the field. ..interrupting Lunatone's psybeam
"LU...." it says weakened
"Now water gun"..."use hypnosis Lunatone" they commanded at the same time and both attacks hit their mark lunatone is blasted into the wall while Palpitoad. ..falls asleep.
Albion immediately summons sudowoodo.
"Wake up palpitoad. ."Voss says knowing palpitoad has a major advantage. ..
"Hammer arm" Albion says connecting and knocking palpitoad unconscious.
Voss throws out electabuzz. ...
"Use dynamic punch" he says..."buuuzzz" but sudowoodo is too fast and dodges every punch...
"Use double team then wood hammer"
Copies surrounded electabuzz it couldn't tell which was real as they all come in and it is hit hard with wood hammer knocking him out. .."electabuzz return" Voss says....
Albion smirks..."sudowoodo is on a whole other level. ..3 down and two to go"

"Rioulu. .its play time" he says
Rioulu nods and takes the field....
~Sudowoodo double team then wood hammer~ Albion ordered again

"Rioulu. ..mud toss" Voss says
Albion looks confused. .."mud toss is not a move" he says but sees rioulu pick up the muddy dirt from the water gun splash and tosses it at the copies causing them to disappear...and hits the real one but still gets partially hit by wood hammer.
Riolu rebounds quickly. ..
~Sudowoodo. ..hammer arm...~
Albion said as sudowoodo arm glows....
"Rioulu. ..swing on Sudowoodo's arm" Voss commands as Rioulu jumps up and hangs from Sudowoodo's arm interrupting the attack.
"Sudowoodo shake him off" Albion commands...as it does so rioulu goes flying into the air....~wood hammer~
Albion says as Sudowoodo prepared the attack jumping after a falling Rioulu. ..
"RIOULU USE FORCE PALM" he says as the two attacks collided both pokemon struggle to win but in the end Sudowoodo sent Rioulu into the ground.
"Ri...o...lu" he says in pain
Sudowoodo gets close to Rioulu on the ground. ..it took some damage from the force palm.
"ITS OVER DOUBLE HAMMER ARM...!!!" Albion sats as Sudowoodo raised two glowing arms...but something happened it doesn't move. ."woo...do" it says. ..the force palm temporarily paralyzed him...giving Rioulu a chance to get up to its feet.
~COME ON SUDOWOODO YOU CAN LAND THAT ATTACK. ..SUDOWOODO~ Albion screams
And sudowoodo fights the paralysis and slammed the double hammer arm into the ground. ..causing it to hunch over...
Rioulu had flipped over Sudowoodo. ...it was mid air above it...
"You can do it...RIOOUULLU" Voss screams as Rioulu replays the double hammer arm in its head and glows a dark purple color and comes down with a double hammer arm behind Sudowoodo. ..slamming it into the ground. ...
Voss smiles. .."you learned copycat. ..." he says happy...
Sudowoodo. .tries to move but faints.

Albion is surprised but smiles..."return. .."
"Great match Voss. ..you win...here's your badge" he says tossing it to him.
Voss looks at Cabella and puts his fist in the air

Cabella smiles brightly as she returns the gesture, and then looks at a proud Totodile. She rises and leaps off the stands, then makes her way over to Voss. "That was great! I told you you would win." She flashes him a big grin as she folds her arms over her chest. Totodile, on Cabella's back, gives two nods of agreement and a short, "Dile."

She clears her throat, and then looks at Voss in an apologetic manner. "I'm very sorry though that you had nearly fallen asleep during your own battle. You pulled through, though!" She laughs, "I'm proud of you." And she grasps Voss in a hug.

(Bump)

"Its ok worth it to make sure you don't get stuck in that world again" he says

Cabella scratches the back of her head, nodding. "Yeah. . . thanks. Means a lot." She laughs.



They are walking down a path that had led them through a forest and out of Cobblestone City. Currently, they are out in the open, fields surrounding them. Cabella found it great to finally not be in a forest, and not near mass civilization either. Just fresh air and grass and the cement path they walk on.

“So, it will take us about two days or so to make it to the docks. . . and from there we take the ferry to that island where the city with the 3rd gym leader is located on.” Cabella smiles brightly, laughing, “Not sure about what any of them are named. Probably something that deals with water.” She snickers, as does Totodile.

As they continue to walk, Cabella spots something in the sky. At first it looks like a little dot. But, when she squints to get a closer look, her eyes end up widening to twice their size. And suddenly, Cabella is knocked several steps back as a pokemon rams into her from the sky. She hugs it as she falls backwards, and gasps, “SHAYMIN!? Wh-what. . . what are. . . where’s dad!?”



Shaymin scurries away from Cabella and onto the ground, and Cabella gets up. She looks down at the pokemon as it begins to move in circles and flips through the air, trying to tell her something. Somehow, Cabella understood everything.

She looks at Voss, her brows knitting together, “Shaymin is going to lead us to my dad.”

“This MUST be it.” The man grins from ear to ear. He stares with wide and hopeful eyes at the entrance of the mountain. A hellish face that could bring nightmares to anyone. Something that should have made them all turn around and rethink this journey. . . but only drew him steps closer.



The man, known as Ferroh – head and founder of Aeon Hunters, leads the crew – which consists of a dozen underlings and. . . Bennett Rose.



Before they enter the open maw of the mountain, Ferroh looks at the underlings. His voice is powerful and intimidating, yet somehow calming. “Three of you stay out here.” He orders.

Without question, three of the underlings stay outside while everyone else enters the mountain. Bennett wasn’t scared. He is a defiant man. Proud and powerful. He stands straight with broad shoulders slightly back and head held high. His eyes are sharp, as are his features. He produces his own intimidating aura, one that clashes with that of Ferroh’s.

When they walk inside, he can’t help but be in awe. He is a researcher after all. And to be someplace like this was actually an honor for Bennett. And he growls at the thought of what the Aeon Hunters plan on doing here. What they will make him participate in. . . which is tearing this place apart to search for what they need:





Shaymin had led them up a mountain. The pokemon soars ahead with the others trailing behind. Cabella runs like a professional athlete, easily keeping up with Shaymin. Her eyes widen as they wind up a trail, and the face with an open mouth in the mountain becomes visible. And she sees three Aeon Hunters standing in front, as if guarding. Seeing this, something ignites within Cabella, and she charges forward, sprinting past Shaymin and startling the pokemon.

As she runs, she tosses a pokeball forward. And out of it shoots Staravia, who darts forward. Cabella leaps, catching the pokeball. This catches the attention of the three Aeon Hunters. Snarling, two of the Aeon Hunters release Durants.

The third Aeon Hunter is about to run into the mountain, but spots Voss catching up to Cabella. “Shit.” He curses under his breath, and then releases his own pokemon. An Exploud.


Staravia, still moving forward with increased speed, spreads its wings last second and they glow just as they strike both Durants – one on each side. The two bug/steel pokemon are sent stumbling aside, and Staravia swoops up and then over to Cabella.

“Alright Voss. Ready to do some teamwork?” Cabella looks over at him, smirking.

Voss released palpitoad as exploud used hypervoice Rioulu used copy cat while Palpitoad launches its tongue to latch onto staravia's talon pulling it up into the air and while Rioulu's hypervoice cancelled out Exploud's as they collided in the middle creating a sound wave battle. ..palpitoad dropped when it was right above exploud releasing a watergun that drove exploud into the ground.

After some time, it was clear that the underlings were starting to get overpowered. They all exchange glances, and then nod. One of the underlings gives all of the pokemon commands, “Durants, you two use Metal Sound. Exploud, use Hyper Voice!”

Cabella goes to shout something at Voss. But, before she can, the three pokemon release their attack. The sound is unbearable as all three pokemon’s attacks combine. But not only was the sound stronger. . . the force is, too. And before Cabella can gasp, she is sent soaring off the mountain’s airborne pathway. Her eyes widen as she sees Voss falling after her. She holds her hand out, trying to take hold of him as they fall, nearing the clouds. But, just as her fingers brush against his, Staravia has caught her, its talons gripping onto her arm and holding her in the air. Cabella screams, “VOSS!”

And she watches as Murkrow speeds down after him. And they disappear within the thick of the clouds. And there is an eerie silence. Cabella closes her eyes, shaking her head. This couldn’t be happening.

And she takes in another deep breath before giving another loud scream, “VOOOSSSSSSS!”

Then, she hears something. And out of the clouds bursts a Honchkrow with Voss. Cabella smiles brightly and Staravia sighs in relief.

When the two are brought back to safety, the three underlings and their tired pokemon are surprised and agitated. Cabella goes to give a command to one of her pokemon, but she feels a hand on her shoulder. She looks to see Voss.

"I've got this." He tells her. "You go find your father. I'll catch up."

Cabella smiles and nods, and dashes forward. As the underlings try to stop her, Honckrow ends up stopping them from doing so. . . allowing Cabella to pass.

Cabella dashes into the cave, her heart racing. Shaymin and Staravia are flying beside her while Totodile is on her back, clinging on and trying not to fall off. She looks around the cave, amazed. It was unlike anything she had ever seen before.



She winces, grabbing her head. A sharp pain spread throughout her skull, and she shakes her head trying to knock it away. After a second, the pain ebbs and Cabella continues to run. She sucks in a massive amount of air, and then shouts, “DAAAAAAD!” Her voice echoes throughout.

And she receives a response, “CABELL-!” But, it is cut short by a loud ‘oomph’ – he had most likely been struck to keep silent.

Cabella picks up speed, following the sound of her father’s echoing voice.

Soon enough, Cabella comes face to face with nine more underlings. . . and her father. He is hacking away at the wall with a pick axe. He turns to look at her, and drops the pick axe. And as an underling goes to hit him to get him back to work, he grabs the underling’s fist and flips him over his shoulder – knocking the underling out. Cabella punches another Underling in the face, and they begin to release their pokemon.

“Cabella, my bag!” Her father points. As Cabella goes to grab it, a Raichu steps in front of her.



But, Totodile flips off Cabella’s back and uses water gun on the Raichu. The pokemon swiftly dodges, but doesn’t see Shaymin come from the side and full body tackle it down. Seeing this as her opportunity, Cabella dashes forward and grabs her father’s bag. She tosses it into the air, and a Pidgeot goes to snatch it out of the air.



But, Cabella’s Staravia is much faster. It gets to the bag first and then drops it right into Bennett’s hands. With a thanks, Bennett opens his bag and tosses two of the pokeballs, releasing a Haxorus and Golduck.

When Voss caught up and joined in with the battle, it was easier for them to defeat the 9 underlings. Cabella looks at all of the underlings, them and their pokemon lying about – either unconscious or on the brink of being unconscious. She then looks over at her father and gives a wide grin. Swiftly, Cabella dashes over and tackles her father in a tight hug.

“I swear you’ve grown since the last time I’ve seen you my little rose.” Bennett heartily laughs, giving his daughter a bear hug. She gasps for air, and coughs as he sets her down. She laughs and scratches the back of her head.

Bennett then looks at Cabella’s pokemon, Totodile on her back, Staravia flapping its wings at her side, and Pawniard standing beside her with arms folded. He smiles, “You’ve got quite the team here. And I can sense the bond you all have.”

And as Bennett goes to say more, he is cut off by laughter. They all turn to look, and see Ferroh making his way towards them, slowly clapping his hands. “Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.”

Cabella looks at the older man and her hands form tight fists. He’s bad. Really bad. She could feel it. And it wasn’t a good feeling. At all. In fact, it made her nauseous.

“I’m sorry Bennett Rose, but I still need you.” Ferroh gives a dark chuckle. He then releases one of his pokemon.



“Heatran.” The pokemon gives a low and bellowing growl.

“I WILL NOT LET YOU TAKE MY FATHER!” Cabella shouts, taking a threatening step forward. Her brows are furrowed. Her eyes glow that bright purple.

Ferroh looks at Cabella, and his eyes widen to twice their size. The expression on his face is one of complete surprise. Bennett looks at his daughter, startled. And he snaps his head towards Ferroh and snarls, “Don’t even think about it.”

Without a word, Ferroh releases his Blastoise.



“Hydro Pump.” Ferroh commands. “And Heatran, Magma Storm.”

Blastoise fires powerful and massive jets of water from its cannons while Heatran fires a massive and powerful spiral of fire from its mouth. These two attacks alone are strong enough to take out Voss’ and Cabella’s pokemon – and considerably weaken Bennett’s Haxorus and Golduck.

Cabella watches as Staravia and Pawniard collapse, and she returns them. She then gasps at the sight of Voss and her father both having been knocked down, too.

Totodile was down, eyes shut and burnt. Before Totodile could run over to her Totodile, something wraps around her. She looks down to see a metallic rope. It starts to drag her back, but she fights. As it tries to yank her back, she moves forward. And screams, “TOTODILE!”

The pokemon’s eyes snap open at the sound of the scream. When Totodile looks, Cabella is struggling to walk towards him. Suddenly, she is pulled back and off her feet. And into the grasp of Ferroh.

As Totodile begins to rise, it is stomped down on by Blastoise.

“TOTODILE!” Cabella screams again, tears staining her face.

“Watch as your pokemon, for the first time, won’t have the strength to rise. Ever again.” Ferroh gives a menacing laugh.

Totodile cries out as Blastoise stomps down once more.

“PLEASE! STOP!” Cabella pleads. She stops trying to struggle, and falls limp in Ferroh’s grasp. “Just stop, please.”

Totodile continues to look at Cabella. He couldn’t protect her again. She was in harm’s way again. Totodile had promised to protect her. He hadn’t only promised her. But himself as well.

Ferroh’s laughter is cut short. He watches as Blastoise goes to deliver one last stomp. But, Totodile suddenly catches Blastoise’s foot. It struggles greatly. By the fierce expression on Totodile’s face, it wasn’t going to let go. And Totodile continues to hold Blastoise’s foot up. Then, Totodile glows red with Rage. And Totodile pushes up and steps forward, causing Blastoise to fall onto its back – where it rolls back and forth at an attempt to get back up.

Roaring, Totodile bounds over the fallen Blastoise and charges towards Ferroh. Heatran steps in front of Totodile. Ferroh thought the pokemon would be smart enough to stand down. His Heatran is powerful. Very powerful. Such a pathetic pokemon as a Totodile couldn’t even make it budge. Yet, Totodile keeps running full speed, a blur of red. And it smashes into Heatran head on. And the collision causes a cloud of smoke to consume them.

Ferroh coughs, waving away smoke. When he opens his eyes, the next sight catches him off guard. A different pokemon bursts out of the smoke and straight towards him. He recognizes this pokemon. It’s a Croconaw.



And that Croconaw smashes its head right into Ferroh’s, causing him to release Cabella. She shakes off the loosened rope and catches Croconaw as it begins to fall – worn out.

Heatran had gotten Blastoise up, and they both look to see their unconscious master. Blastoise makes a low grunting noise, and Elgyem suddenly appears from a pokeball that had been in Ferroh’s pocket.



Elgyem looks around in confusion, and jumps slightly at the sight of a knocked out Ferroh. Suddenly, Blastoise, Heatran and Ferroh all begin to glow as Elgyem does. And the four of them disappear.

Cabella watches as Ferroh and his pokemon vanish into thin air. She then looks at Croconaw and grasps her pokemon in a tight hug. “I am so incredibly proud of you.” She sniffles.

She then glances up to see her father get to his feet, and also help Voss up.

Cabella rushes over to her father and Voss, and asks, "Are you guys okay?"

Voss gets up..."yea I'm fine...everyone ok" he says looking at his pokemon while he administered super potions to everyone.
"HONCH....KROOOW" the revitalized pokemon says as Rioulu jumps on his back hugging him as Voss made a great choice his Honchkrow was as large as a Pidgeot as he was able to ride it.

"Nice to meet you Mr. ROSE" Voss says shaking his hand

Bennett seemed to be scowling at Voss. He turns to his daughter and questions, "Who is this Cabella?"

Cabella smiles brightly and then introduces, "Dad, this is Voss." She gestures towards him. "He has accompanied on this journey since day one!" She flashes a wide grin, hoping to enlighten her father. But, he still glowers at Voss.

"If you so have touched my daughter," He leans closer to Voss to growl in his ear, "You wouldn't be able to be categorized as male OR female." He then stands at his full height, which was probably around 6'05", and smiles lovingly at his daughter. He grasps her in another tight hug.

"I am so glad to see you are okay!" He wails. "Your Totodile was truly amazing." He then looks at Croconaw, who stands with hands on hips, looking rather proud. "Or, I suppose now a Croconaw." He chuckles.

"We should get out of here. . . this place is giving me the creeps." Cabella mutters under her breath.

"We can head to the nearest town!" Bennett beams.



The group arrives at a small town several miles away from the location of the mountain. The sun was starting to go down, painting the sky with streaks of pink and orange.

They all sit inside of a small inn, which had a very homey feel to it. The three of them are at a table, and the pokemon are nearby eating away.

"So. . . why are you with my daughter?" Bennett looks at Voss. No. Not looks. Glares.

"The Professor i was studying under thought it would be a good idea to travel with her as i also dream of being a pokemon master... even though i was studying pokemon medicine ... but i seem to lack certain qualities that you daughter posseses... as with other champions like my mother Claire... so best way to learn is to see it first hand" he says to Bennet....

Looking at Bennet was the same way he use to look at his father Cyrus....
Thinking about his dad made Voss look down at the table... ever since his father was arrested he has been hiding his true self so people wouldn't know... to the world Cyrus has no children and Claire had no affiliation with the criminal.

Bennett smiles brightly. And right there it was clear that he is the father of Cabella Rose. He slams a hand against Voss' back, nearly knocking him off his chair. He releases a hearty laugh, one that could instantly relieve any tension. The same laugh as Cabella. Grinning, Bennett slams a fist against the table. "Look up boy! Don't you know it's a terrible thing to be looking down!? Keep that head up! If you don't it's gonna be stuck that way! And I've seen a man once try to battle with his head down the entire time. My guess it was stuck that way. But you know what happened!? HE LOST! Terribly, too."

Cabella laughs as she gives a roll of her eyes. That's the same story he would always tell her. But, she always stuck to it and thought about it.

"So, you must be somewhat interested in the field of pokemon research eh?" Bennett seemed to straighten out more.

"Oh god dad please don't get started on this." Cabella groans, throwing her head down onto the table and hiding her face with her arms.

"Well yea...i don't just want to be like my mom a traveling champion getting paid to make appearances and challenge different regions....
That and the government work that champions do when rougue organizations pop up like team Aqua, Magma.....te...team Galactic" he says

He shakes his head but looks up..."Yea im all for that but i'd like to do more then that ....the love of battle the constant action thats Cabella's future i can tell she reminds me of my mother... but me i want to bridge the gap between researcher and Master" he says

"Well then you're look at one of those right here," Bennett points his thumb at himself. And suddenly, he seemed to look even bigger. Cabella groans, feeling his aura become something else. That show offy kind. The kind that Cabella gives off. But. . . not this powerful of an aura. Not even close.

"You've got him started." Cabella wails, still hiding within her arms.

"You see Voss!" Bennett's chair is suddenly right beside his, and one of his arms are around Voss' shoulders. "I own 631 pokemon! Every badge! And beaten every single elite four out there! As well as the champions who were awaiting for me after!" He is grinning from ear to ear, looking forward and into open space as though he was thinking about something of the past.

But yet. . . Bennett Rose isn't wordly known. In fact, there are a majority of people who have never heard of him. Why? Because that's the way he wants it to be. . . Bennett is a man of mystery. One who prefers to be hidden and on the down low. If he was famous he couldn't do all of his research without being bothered every minute by some challenger or something.

"Well then you are what I strive to become... besides owning all those pokemon" he says
Voss doesn't want every pokemon just ones he feels a significant bond with ...
"I don't catch pokemon just for the sake of capturing them...although thats quite and accomplishment sir" he says
