"I'm here to get her out of here" he says removing the needles

(. . .did you take it in a dirty way? XD . . . my sister always does. . .)

Odette had gone numb, but the pain strikes as the needles are removed. She screams, the tears springing to her eyes.

"Do you think you can really just walk in here and take her?" The demons burst into laughter.
"What is going on here?" The demon king appears, glaring at Blake. "What do you think you're doing boy?" He sneers.

Impaling:

"I'm taking her back to earth so she can be happy and find a pure human and bring peace" he says

(Okay good. XD . . .because there are a lot of people who do. . .)

"The old prophecy has been destroyed. Bring her to earth and the new prophecy shall continue." The king snarls, his brows knitting together.

"Blake. . . leave me. . .please. . ." Odette says between heavy breaths, swaying slightly as her vision was slipping along with her consciousness. "I can't be happy. . . on earth. . .I don't want to. . . go back." She closes her eyes as several stray tears make their way down her cheeks.

"She's right. She cannot be happy on earth. She is not meant to be. Unloved and hated by humans, who make up a majority of the world's population." The king states. "Happiness is the last thing she could hope to feel."

Her father's words stung, even more so in the presence of Blake. She flinches slightly. It was the truth. . . happiness was something Odette could only dream of. It was the only thing she always dreamed of.

(ahhhh good old torture methods <3 nobody has class these days. THEY USE FEATHERS INSTEAD OF THE STOCKS D; throw things at me but don't tickle me x_X)

nyx looks at ed and nods slightly "demons hate cold but it's useful to help calm us down" she states simply as she gets two more icecubes and hisses "ugh remind me to slap blake when i see him next...." she groans.

"Alright, but I'm throwing a punch in there somewhere." Ed quietly laughs as he folds his arms over his chest. He bites the inside of his cheek before sighing, "He really pushed your buttons this time. . . didn't he?"

"well of course he did! if you'd answered the phone and heard him saying the stuff he did..... you'd have to put a glass casing over the buttons...." she frowned "he hurt me ed.....he called me a monster and told me to stay away from you...." she says weakly

"I don't care about prophecy or destiny I would let the earth burn 1009 times before I allow this and BESIDES I LOVE HERand that's all the love she needs" he says carrying her

Ed makes his way over to Nyx and gives her a quick kiss. He places his hands on her shoulders, and looks down at her, smiling. "Monster? The only person I see before me is the greatest woman in the world. Who also happens to be my girlfriend. Well, I feel quite lucky." He laughs. "Maybe I should go test out my luck by buying a lottery ticket?"

"You say you love her. But do you mean it, Blake? Do you actually love her, or are you just saying that? Who are you trying to convince with such nonsense? Us. Or yourself? She is of royal blood, of my blood. The one who killed your parents. She has killed so many people. And she will continue to kill. So how could you possibly love a murderous monster, Blake?" The king snaps, enraged. But he couldn't attack. None of the demons could. Blake wasn't a spirit, due to passing through the gates of Hell, he was still human. If Blake tried to attack, he would be instantly destroyed, though.

Odette winces at her father's words, the tears burning her eyes. But what hurt even more was when he said 'murderous monster'. . . because that's what Blake had once called her. Those were the words that continuously echoed throughout her mind. She felt lost. Confused. She wanted to move, but was paralyzed from the torture.

"i wouldn't, those things are rigged.... i bought one once and i was one number off from winning!" she scowls "stupid numbers....." she mutters "and i wouldn't say that ed.... according to mammon my ego needs deflating not boosting" she laughs " but if i'd won the lottery she'd be so friendly.... lousy money grubber..." she says unamused.

Ed gives a hearty laugh, and he holds Nyx in a hug while saying, "Glad that you're finally sounding like yourself again. And I think it's better to have a big ego than none at all." He pulls away, gives her another kiss, and then leaves the kitchen to put the book back on the shelf.

"you tell my bratty demon sister that~!" she laughs as she walks out of the kitchen and sits on the sofa, she turns the t.v on and wanders over to the documentry channels "ohhhhhhhh~ what do you know~ something on demons today~" she chimed "my mother says i've an unhealthy obsession with them. mostly because last time i kept talking and pointing out things that were wrong...." she laughs.

Ed finds the correct spot for the book, and then he sits beside Nyx. "It's odd. I would watch these documentaries and not believe a single thing that was said. Basically, I never believed in demons before. . . hm." He ponders a sudden thought, and then speaks, "Maybe I should start checking under my bed, because I never believed that there was a monster there." He chuckles.

"hey! don't joke about those things! i had one in my closet aswell.... but demon teddies keep us safe as chidren~ they go from being a stuffed animal to a demon bear in the night~" she chimes before looking at the screen "oh that's not true!" she hisses " we don't all feed on humans!" she frowns.

"Really?" That was news to Ed. "Not all demons feed on humans? Then. . . what do they eat?" He suddenly felt stupid for asking such questions. But he was very curious. He wanted to know everything he could about demons. And who better to learn from than his own girlfriend?

"some eat animals and few are veggies~" she says matter of factly "i prefer humans though because animals are fattening and i love chicken too much to be a veggie" she laughs.

"I don't have to answer to you king or not my heart could speak volumes someone once told me true love is overcoming the bad" he says walking away.."o and how dare you say that about your daughter I said that before but it was out of ignorance.. your just as guilty.. you could have been the king to change everything but you didn't you killed millions including my family I'm glad my father is the man who scarred the devil.. so you can go fuck yourself"

The king was rendered speechless as he stood there, and some of the demons had started snickering. The king snarls, and then he vanishes.

Odette couldn't see anything, but she could still hear. As her ears started to ring, Odette falls unconscious.

Ed thinks about this, and then says, "So demons and humans do have more in common than we think."

" we were the first on the planet and we developed powers, those that used them for evil intentions were stripped of their powers, thus humans existed." she says " humans now are not bad and could probably tap into the powers of their ancestors if they tried hard enough but nobody wants to become what we are except for crazed loons~" she laughs

"So we are ALL linked to demons, then?" Ed questions, fixing his glasses as he had started to take notes.

"yeah~ even the hunters~" she laughs "it's a pity they don't make us talk before they kill us, we'd destroy all their beliefs in just one story~" she smirks "i came accross a hunter once.... i was able to manipulate him and i told him what i just told you.... guy broke down crying but he released me~" she chimes

"Hunters." The word burned in Ed's skull. The thought of someone wanting to hunt down demons. He would kill if Nyx was ever harmed. "That's the thing about humans. We are all so. . . ignorant." It actually made him frustrated, and that was clear in Ed's tone.

"hey~" she says placing a hand on his cheek " not all of them.... not you...."she says smiling "i'm actually rather glad you're so fascinated with what i am~ nobody else understands my need to be on earth when hell is really the only place i was made to survive in...." she shrugs " but i really am from britain, at least that's where my family come out from when they appear in the human world without a specific place~ but i earned my money to come here.... and i may have stole from mammon but she asked for it..." she laughs.

"But why do demons and humans have to feel so negative about one another?" Ed wonders aloud, his thoughts racing. "That's something I don't understand. I thought I had, but I don't." He slouches forward, cupping his hands over his face as he takes in a deep breath. "Will humans and demons be in constant battle? Does one want full control of the planet? Why? Why fight?"

she shrugs at this "demons just wanna be able to come back up here without getting holy water tossed at them~! cause that stuff does kind burn...in a bad way..." she frowns " and i've high hopes that we'll be led by the queen in a more peaceful effort to gain back our home~ like giving out cookies maybe.... it works with most people..." she laughs before becoming serious.

" and we fight for our families, for our loved ones and to protect the younger ones from the very things we fear. this is why both humans and demons fight, for love and protection."

Ed looks at Nyx, and he blinks. He actually felt better now, which was a sign that he understood. A smile forms on Ed's face, and he tells Nyx, "Thank you." He then says, "And if there is anything I could ever do to help in bringing peace, I would be more than glad to. Because I would like to see the day when demons and humans can live together without so much violence. There will always be a battle or two. But. . . that's because of how the world is."

" exactly~ i'd like to be able to not be judged by my demon peers because my consort is human and i'm guessing you feel the same yes?" she asks, smiling in return.

Ed gives a quiet laugh before nodding, and answering with a "Yes." He moves closer to Nyx, and sighs. "But until then. I shall continue to fear that your brothers will kill me in my sleep." He then chuckles.

"don't worry neither levi or cerberus have heard of it yet.... and better yet diwo doesn't know what we did last night~" she giggles "if any of them heard about that.... you'd need to move into my basement for protection" she smirks
