"Its fine no need to get upset... i come from a family of hunters.. we're use to demon attacks" he says

Odette settles down, and her hair and eyes return to normal. "Alright. I know I shouldn't get so worked up. It's just that. . . you're hurt." She gasps.

"I'll be fine.. just got burned by that weird fire.. i will be ok" he says

"Are you sure? If you need me to, I could heal you." Odette replies, her voice filled with concern. She knew this was her fault. If it hadn't been for Odette, Lycos wouldn't have even been released.

"Im fine...trust me.. i may be a fragile human but that doesn't mean you have to run and heal me every time im hurt... im a hunter and if i become a full fledged hunter you won't always be there to heal me" he says

Odette looks away as she nods. She didn't like the thought of Blake being a hunter. But, she sighs and responds with a whispered, "I'm sorry. I understand."

With her head bowed, Odette leaves the house.

Blake goes after her..."Im sorry i can't just sit by and watch you fight for your life.. and just hope your ok...i said this to Ed.. if Nyx was in danger would he let her handle it or would he fight for her.. you already know my answer .. i'll fight for you" he says

"But what if I don't want you to fight FOR me, Blake? What if I would rather fight BY you?" Odette asks him, her brows slightly knitted together. But it wasn't out of frustration, more out of being upset.

"No .. your the demon.. your the powerhouse.. its basically chess.. hunters are the knights and pawns.. but the queen is the real power player" he says..."I will just be a distraction" he says

Odette grips onto Blake's shoulders, and gives him a light shake. "A distraction? No. You're not a distraction. Not even close." She shakes her head before continuing, "You're the complete opposite. In this game I would rather be a pawn than the queen if it means I get to stand by your side."

"You can't alter fate you were born a queen and I a human... a hunter.. like you said you have demons to rule over"

Odette laughs at Blake, and then smiles brightly. "Fate? I don't even believe in such a thing. Yes. I do have demons to rule over. But I broke two rules, one of those was the most important. I'm not really someone the demons are looking up to. It seems like my father has taken charge. Otherwise, if I had any say, then Lycos would still be chained up." She then nudges Blake. "And every queen has their king."

"It doesn't matter you're still royalty people didn't like queen Elizabeth but she became a great queen...but demons won't respect a human king let alone a hunter"

Odette takes in a deep breath, and then says, "I know how to turn humans into demons. . . but. . . I can't do that to you."

"What...you ....no I wasn't meant to be one..how can u do that" he asked

"I am the queen after all." Odette scratches the back of her head. "And that's the reason why I can't do it to you. You're a hunter. . ."

"Oh you're right" he says..." is lycos powerful?"

"Yeah. He's the Sinistro. I'll explain some other time." Odette laughs. She was just glad that he hadn't insisted on becoming a demon. "But you should probably get back home. Get some rest. Tend to your wounds."

"I will" he says...Besides tomorrow he would meet up with Monty and finally talk about being a hunter..he was so anxious

nyx roars loudly as she walks downstairs, having heard his speech and their laughter.

" you make fun of him all you want but at least he has the balls to stand up against you! if i see any of you go after him, i will hunt you down and sacrifice YOU on my altar! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!" she hisses

cerberus attempts to hide himself in diwos neck, quite scared of his sister "love does crazy things to women....." he whimpers "and puberty"

lussuria smirks at this as mammon comes to her side , hand stretched out as lussuria pays her money "who knew she felt so strongly about another person before" she laughs as mammon giggles "who knew the human would make me this much cash!"

levi looks at his sister and sighs, she was serious about him AND her threats....

morrigan looks over at her husband who sits there frowning mumbling 'i don't like this.' and smiles. he'd accepted the human just as much as she had and he took the natural thought path of a father.

she however would need to speak to nyx about eventually having a wedding....

Ed was walking down the street in the Edgley neighborhood. His hands are placed in his pockets, his posture suddenly lazy.

"Great going Ed. You've ruined your chances. . ." He mutters to himself, taking in a deep breath. Ed hears something, and comes to a quick stop. His gaze waves from left to right, trying to pinpoint the noise's location.

His heart skips a beat as his vision is clouded with red. Ed's mouth opens, as if he was attempting to say something. His senses seemed to sharpen for a second, the beating of a bird's wings sounding off overhead as he collapses to his knees.

Ed places a hand against his chest, feeling the warmth of something. With a subtle breath, Ed trembles and then drops to his side. His eyes rest on the sidewalk's concrete, watching as the pool of blood settled itself beneath him.

A demon stands over Ed, their chest heaving with every frustrated breath. "Nyx will thank me for this!" He scoffs, clicking his long claws together in a frantic motion. "Her entire family will! A demon and a human? Haha! You! How dare you even try to make such a thing happen, human!"

"Love. . . means no boundaries." Ed says under his breath. His eyelids felt heavier as he lays on his side, the four gashes that run along his chest running deep and thick. It was clear that the wounds were from the demon's abnormally long claws.

"You make me sick." The demon spits, Ed's blood dripping down his sharp nails and to the sidewalk below.

nyx hisses loudly, clutching at her chest "WHO FUCKING HIT ME?!" she yells only to find people staring at her blankly.

morrigan however looks up from her conversation with her husband sharply and walks over to her daughter, wing around her child as she speaks in hushed tones to her "what's wrong? where does it hurt?" she asks as nyx points to a section on her "i-i'ts bleeding...." she whimpers as morrigan shakes her head.

"there is no injury little one. no blood, no cut and no bruise." she states deep in thought before gasping " YOU LOST IT?!" she screeches as nyx looks at her alarmed.

"wait, no time to answer! nyx when you're mated, you are bonded to that person, now quickly go find your human!" she hisses as she moves her wing and watches as her child grabs cerberus -who is still very muchly attatched to diwo - by the collar and runs out of the house.

"s-sis!" he yelps, holding onto diwo for his life "w-whats going on?!"

"ed. he's injured and i don't know where! now one of you mutts track his fucking scent or i'll never speak to EITHER of you again!" she yells

Blake called Ed

The demon kneels at Ed's side, and traces the smooth end of his claw against Ed's neck. "Your head would make a beautiful piece in my home."

With a short laugh, the demon pokes one claw against Ed's stomach, and then another. He digs them in, each nail acting like daggers. Ed cries out, but his voice is quick to die off as he chokes on blood.

"Come on human. Let's hear you beg for mercy~" The demon croons, smiling down at Ed. "Because I'm going to make you pay for every little word you spoke back there in the house."


Diwo had shifted into his dog form, his nose to the ground as he sniffs his way. He sneezes and gags, then looks at Nyx. "The smell of the human's blood is thick. It's like a cloud around him. And there's another demon. Smells like a badger demon."

"This way!" Diwo barks, sprinting now.

(I'll be back. I have to pick up rocks.)

cerberus changes into dog form, the reason he had three collars now evident as he lifts a head down for his sister to climb on.

nyx crouches on all four as her hands grip onto her brothers middle collar as he runs after diwo.

"BROTHER! HURRY UP AND MOVE OVER BEFORE I BITE YOU!" cerberus growls from all three heads, laughing slightly as he nips at his brothers ankles before yelping as nyx pulls back on his collar.

(Yeah. . . picking up rocks is going to take some time. . .)

(Alright so my parents have decided quite randomly that they want to redo the entire front yard. . .

so I won't be on for another hour or two because after rolling up strips of grass and picking up rocks. . .

and I have already found a dead mouse. . .
I will probably take a very long shower XD)

Diwo had more speed than his brother, because of the slender and smaller build. He speeds ahead, the markings glowing. They were close. Very close.

The demon hears the phone ringing, and pulls it out of Ed's pocket. He puts it to his ear and chortles, "Sorry. But Ed is no longer of service." He then crushes Ed's phone in his hand and drops the little bits and pieces.

But the demon senses something. He goes to turn his head, but before he could move an inch, Diwo had plowed right into him. Diwo's jaws crunch down on the demon's arm as he grabs him, and then comes to a stop, waiting for his brother to catch up.
