Good list -- brought back some memories of wasted hours. I would add:

The Cosby Show
Growing Pains
Electric Company (Is that even still around?)
The New Leave it to Beaver (Is that what it was called? Beave and the gang were grown up. Either Beave or Wally was divorced and moved back in with the mom. It was on the Disney Channel)
Cheers
Mr. Rogers

Has anyone heard of Captain Kangaroo and The Bozo Show, or were those just in the Chicago area? (Did I just date myself?)

I would also add Zoom (which IS still around - different kids) to that list. We used to watch it when we got home from school.

And don't forget Facts of Life. LOL

It was an educational Animaniacs-type show dealing with History. I don't remember took much about it but people say it wasn't very good. But I liked it when I was younger.

Oh! I just remembered another one! Science Court

Also, my list is too big, so I won't bother. Or maybe I will, but in any case, I'm not doing it now.

Seconded. The "Zanzibar" episode was the best 15 minutes in telivision history, ever.

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today?
Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection.
Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!

Zanzibar is an awesome episode. I always loved Wacky Delly the most, though, and I suspect it's that episode that drove me to pursue a career in animation.
"I am the cheese. I am the best character on the show. I am better than both the salami and the bologna combined."

I was so into the books as a kid, I just had to watch the show XD

I remember when I was a wee thing my siblings and I were having a sleep over at my grandmother's house with my cousins (we hung out all the time as children) and we were so excited about seeing Animorphs right before bed and Pokemon early in the morning

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?

I don't care for the show beyond the first couple seasons...or maybe that's just because I'm bitter about not having any of the newer games and thus not being familiar with the new batch of Pokemon. I like the original seasons, though, very nostalgic.

The games are awesome. I get totally addicted for weeks at a time. But I can rarely play them because I only have Red, Blue, and Yellow and no batteries for one of the Gameboy Advances I own but can't find.

I always want to buy the cards when I'm at the store. I don't know why, though.

I stopped watching Pokemon on Saturday morning about 3 episodes after they got into Hoenn. Pokemon Chronicles roxxors, though. Especially since it is one of the last seasons wiht the original voice actors.
