suggestions for gaming laptop

Hey, some of you might have read my thread about my computer craping out. Well in the event I can't fix it I'll hafta replace it.
My price range is $1000-$1500. I've been out of the laptop world for a little bit. I want somehing that can pwn pretty much every game. So just throw some suggestions out there.

1000-1500 for a gaming laptop? That doesn't leave as many options as it used to. Gateway used to make a really good one a year or so ago, but they don't any more. Dell also killed of their XPS range (which would have been my first suggestion), and I don't think they make the big bad HPs anymore (though they might). Keep in mind that you are going to be looking at 15.4 inch models and up for gaming uses, usually erring towards 17 inchers.
