(George Clooney was the worst Batman ever) ... And Christian Bale looks more like the Batman from the t.v. show.

Michael Keaton

Is this a repeat of the incident with Teen Titans?
I posted a Batman Begins topic before chickenchop4. If you had looked at the dates you would have noticed this.

All in all, they didn't do too bad a job in this movie. It was much better then Batman Beyond (George Clooney was the worst Batman ever) and I think Christian Bale's performance as Batman rivaled that of Michael Keaton's. Christian Bale looks more like the Batman from the t.v. show, he's got the whole tall, dark, and handsome look that is so very Bruce Wayne. I was a little dissapointed with the underdeveloped Batmobile and I thought that Katie Holmes could really have used a bra, but that's about it. ^_^

Batman Begins is a great film starring Christian Bale (Equilibrium). Dark storyline, without all the colorful crap from the two most recent Batman films. Bale played a great part.
Batman Begins focuses first on how Batman develops his skills as well as why he's doing it. The film is also very much about stealth and catching the enemies off guard. Even so, the entire second half of the film is all about Batman in the city, hunting criminals.
Is it better than the first Batman? I'd say it's a tie. The first one is a classic thanks to Jack Nicholson's Joker, and Keaton's good performance. Still, I prefer the darker story, Batman Begins. It's a very slick film, with great style and mood by Nolan/director.
Goyer, who wrote Batman Begins, kicked ass here. (I can't believe he was the guy who wrote Blade Trinity. I loved Blade 1 and 2, but 3 sucked and abandoned the focus of the first two.) This is a great script, topped with top notch acting.
Overall, Batman Begins is highly recommended if you enjoyed the first Batman 1989. The fight scenes could've been shot better, but it was mostly intentional, due to the stealthy movements of Batman. When Batman freefalls and opens up his wings, man, that kicked ass. Oh, and the batmobile chase scene rocked, much like this film.
Fans of dark heroes, Blade, Neo, Hellboy, Darth Vader, etc, check it out.
Rating: 9/10. Must see. Don't be fooled by the other films in the series. This is a new take on Batman not to be missed by fans.
