Whilst never a commercial success (it still did better than the 32X), the SEGA CD was a goldmine for games. Buried beneath the garbage FMV games such as Night Trap, you have gems like Afterburner III, Ecco the Dolphin and, indeed, Sonic the Hedgehog CD.

When will Sega:

A. stop trying to make us play as all those other gay characters and let us simply play as SONIC...and
B. figure out a way to make a next gen Sonic game that doesn't totally suck eggs?

Sonic games have sucked now for over a decade...

Agree with both points. If I buy a Sonic game, I want to play AS SONIC. Also, no 3D game even comes close to the 2D side scrollers on the Genesis in terms of gameplay. Even the Advance versions of the 2D games aren't as good.

2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!
