This one hits home. I had someone call up and ask me if I received his email yet. It was sent maybe an hour ago and wasn't that important (plus I was sitting at my desk anyway). He could have just called me in the first place instead of get mad that I had not checked my email...

People depend on e-mail too much. I think they use it as a way to pass communication responsibilities off to others. It's really easy to say: "Oh, well didn't you get me e-mail?" That's supposed to make it alright that there was no other attempt to contact someone. It's bull. People should not rely on e-mail.
