Wireless headphones often lack the music experience found in their wired counterparts. Thanks to the A2 Sound Engines, Tracks AIR delivers a music experience that has solid bass, clean mids and vocals, and extended highs. Developed specifically for Bluetooth audio, the A2 Sound Engines are also very power efficient so you can have volume and bass punch without additional battery drain.

"Tracks AIR is our latest collaboration with SOL REPUBLIC and offers unrivaled sound quality with the best of Bluetooth wireless technology. The same audio quality, but without the wires."
Super Power Wireless
Tracks AIR features an unmatched wireless range that ensures clear and precise sound up to 150 feet away, nearly five times more than other wireless headphones. Tracks AIR gives music lovers the freedom to move around the house or office without having to keep your phone or music player attached to your hip. Don't worry about digging through your bag to find your phone to answer an incoming call; Tracks AIR will pause your music and you can answer or ignore using only the controls on the sound engine.
Never Miss a Beat
With a remarkable 15-hour battery life, Track's AIR has nearly twice as much power as most wireless headphones, so you won't have to worry about your headphones' charge dying during a long flight or marathon day at the office. If the battery does run low, you can conveniently plug in the standard SOL REPUBLIC cables that come with Tracks AIR and continue to enjoy your music.
Dual-Device Connectivity
Tracks AIR offers the convenience of dual-device connectivity so you can connect two devices simultaneously, such as your phone, tablet or computer. Seamlessly answer an incoming call while watching a movie on your tablet without having to disconnect devices. Swap from a movie on your tablet to your phone with the touch of a button. As an added bonus, you can also pair a standalone music player such as an MP3 player to Tracks AIR without losing the connection to your two primary devices.
You're In Control
The new noise-isolating A2 Sound Engines also feature intuitively placed controls to ensure music lovers can pause, play, adjust volume and make phone calls with ease. A dual-microphone with CrystalTalk(TM) technology is built in to one of the Sound Engines, providing distortion-free calls anytime, anywhere.
Complete Interchangeability
Tracks AIR features new PowerTracks(TM), which are interchangeable headbands that can easily be swapped out to match your outfit or personal style. Tracks AIR will be available in multiple colors including ice white, gunmetal, electro blue and vivid red. Echelon Broadens its Technology Platform to Jumpstart the Emerging Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Market
Open IzoT platform enables the creation of highly reliable communities of devices; software will be available on ARM architectures and bundled with Marvell Wi-Fi SDKSANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ARM TechCon -- Echelon Corporation (NASDAQ: ELON), the world's leading control networking platform provider, today outlined its plan to broaden its award-winning embedded control technology platform--bringing its 25 years of experience in networking and controlling more than 100 million industrial devices to the emerging Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) market. In the first phase in its strategy, Echelon is introducing its IzoT platform (see http://iiot.echelon.com) for the IIoT and releasing beta versions of its IzoT multi-protocol stack for the ARM architecture.
Available now are example reference implementations for the popular Raspberry Pi development platform. In January 2014, the software stack will be available as part of Marvell's Easy Connect software development kit (SDK) for the Marvell Wi-Fi Microcontroller platform, and later in 2014 Echelon will release a range of IzoT-enabled chips, modules, routers and software (see separate release http://www.echelon.com/company/news-room/2013/Echelon-and-Marvell-Spur-Development-of-Interoperable-Wireless-Devices.htm).
The IIoT refers to industrial objects, or "things," that automatically communicate over a network--without human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction--to share information and take action, often autonomously. Because of the unforgiving environments in which these industrial devices exist--including harsh physical conditions and mission-critical processes--IIoT solutions must meet the challenging requirements of industrial-strength reliability, hardened security, wired and wireless connectivity, and backwards compatibility with large installations of legacy devices.
Echelon's IIoT offerings focus on enabling both existing and new "things"--including small, low-powered sensors and actuators--to connect and take action among themselves in a peer-to-peer fashion, with or without interaction with the centralized client/server "Internet" portion of the IIoT. Echelon's open, multi-protocol, multi-application IzoT platform will support both wired and wireless connections, freeing developers from worrying about compatibility, protocol or connectivity issues as they design or integrate IIoT devices and applications.
"Echelon's control networking platform has always been about connecting 'things' in environments where reliability, flexibility and scale are paramount, and now we are extending that platform to more protocols and more connectivity types," said Ron Sege, Echelon's chairman and CEO. "We have 25 years of experience connecting and controlling more than 100 million devices in a wide range of applications, from lighting to building controls to industrial automation. By 2020, the Internet of Things (IoT) is expected to represent almost 40 percent of all Internet-connected devices, a share higher than either mobile phones or PCs/tablets--and the IIoT is expected to reach 500 million units per year. We believe that our IzoT platform can facilitate that growth and bring great benefit to many existing and new industrial applications."
"The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is drawing attention and investment from major technology providers throughout the industry, and Echelon is positioned to provide important foundational solutions for this emerging market," said Patrick Moorhead, president and principal analyst of Moor Insights & Strategy. "The kind of control networking expertise that Echelon has amassed will be crucial for turning the promise of the IIoT into tangible, transformative solutions."
Echelon Platform Designed to Speed Adoption of the IIoT
By adding protocol support for legacy and emerging devices to its platform, and by adding short-range wireless capabilities to its existing best-of-breed wired offerings, Echelon will offer customers the easiest, most reliable way to build large-scale heterogeneous networks of industrial-grade devices that can self-install and interoperate within a peer-to-peer community. Because the Echelon platform supports legacy as well as emerging IIoT protocols, customers will not have to strand assets or engage in wholesale system upgrades.
In January 2014, Echelon plans to release IzoT Cloud software, enabling remote access, monitoring and control of IzoT-enabled communities of devices. In addition to access through REST services, the cloud software will also provide data archival services to store key data from IzoT-enabled communities for trending and other analytics.
Developers can take advantage of the software being released today to rapidly prototype new IIoT devices and applications on standard ARM-based hardware platforms such as the Raspberry Pi, while having the option of creating industrial-grade and purpose-built products based on IzoT-enabled chips, modules, routers and software that Echelon will introduce throughout 2014.

"For 25 years Echelon has been focused on what we are now calling the Industrial Internet of Things Market - rock-solid and scalable device connectivity with the industrial-grade qualities needed for mission-critical commercial and industrial environments," said Ron Sege, CEO and Chairman of Echelon. "By combining the capabilities of Echelon's IzoT platform with Marvell's innovative Wi-Fi solutions, developers can create wireless devices designed to work in challenging industrial environments."
Echelon's recently announced IzoT device software will be available as part of the Marvell Easy Connect software developer kit (SDK) (see separate release http://www.echelon.com/company/news-room/2013/Echelon-Broadens-its-Platform-to-Internet-of-Things-IIoT.htm). Developers using Marvell's 88MC200 Wi-Fi Microcontroller platform and Easy Connect Software will be able to download the Echelon IzoT device software and build their device applications on top of it--thereby taking advantage of connectivity, control and interoperability services that are required by industrial-grade communities of devices within the IIoT.
In 2014, Echelon plans to introduce its own IzoT-optimized Wi-Fi modules based on the Marvell 88MC200 Wi-Fi microcontroller platform and the industrial-grade Marvell 8801 Wi-Fi chip with IIoT-specific I/O interfaces. By building on this pre-tested hardware/software module, Echelon customers who have long used Echelon's technology to build wired devices will easily be able to expand their portfolio to include wireless devices as well.
"I am very proud of Echelon's leadership in this big and growing 'Internet of Things' market with industrial-grade security and reliability solutions. I am also very pleased that Marvell is able to support Echelon in its latest innovative products," said Weili Dai, President and Co-Founder of Marvell. "With Marvell's industry-leading end-to-end capabilities from mobile communication to cloud infrastructure, storage, and video content delivery, I believe we will be able to support Echelon and other ecosystem partners to accelerate the rapid adoption of 'Internet of Things' in today's 'Connected Lifestyle'."

Echelon Broadens its Technology Platform to Jumpstart the Emerging Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Market
Open IzoT platform enables the creation of highly reliable communities of devices; software will be available on ARM architectures and bundled with Marvell Wi-Fi SDK
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. In the first phase in its strategy, Echelon is introducing its IzoT platform (see http://www.iiot.echelon.com) for the IIoT and releasing beta versions of its IzoT multi-protocol stack for the ARM architecture.

Emulex Introduces Gen 5 Fibre Channel Flash Services for Virtualized Environments and Database Applications
New Emulex ExpressLane QoS and CrossLink In-band Message Passing Features Optimize I/O Performance in Fabric-based Flash Arrays and Server-based Cache Environments
FRANKFURT, Germany and COSTA MESA, Calif., Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SNW EUROPE -- Emulex Corporation (NYSE: ELX), a leader in network connectivity, monitoring and management, today announced new Gen 5 Fibre Channel (FC) Flash Services technology, which is designed to enhance the quality of service (QoS), optimize I/O performance and increase return on investment (ROI) in IT environments using fabric-based flash arrays and server-based cache. Emulex Gen 5 FC Flash Services technology is built on existing FC industry standards, eliminating vendor lock-in, and includes exclusive ExpressLane(TM) and CrossLink(TM) features, which provide priority queuing and in-band FC message passing. Emulex Gen 5 FC Flash Services technology is available as a no charge upgrade to currently shipping Emulex Gen 5 FC Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) and doesn't require any additional hardware purchases.
"Flash and cache technologies are driving tremendous opportunities to accelerate applications and maximize QoS for virtualized and cloud environments," said Shaun Walsh, senior vice president of marketing and corporate development, Emulex. "We are enabling best-of-breed solutions with partners' and OEMs' flash and cache products by ensuring that Emulex FC and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) products provide the highest I/O operations per second (IOPS), lowest latency, in-band device-to-device message-passing and intelligent automation."
ExpressLane Feature
As flash storage is deployed into mixed storage environments or with hybrid storage arrays, the combination of data from rotating media and flash devices can cause congestion on the Storage Area Network (SAN), resulting in reduced performance and diminished ROI. Emulex ExpressLane gives high priority, mission-critical workloads more chances to transmit by tagging the associated Logical Unit Number (LUN), so that flash traffic receives precedence. Emulex ExpressLane technology offers:
-- Improved Service Level Agreements (SLAs): ExpressLane technology
delivers prioritized queuing by using prioritization flags to identify
priority traffic to the fabric, resulting in consistent performance and
improved SLAs for individual I/Os.
-- Improved QoS: Public or hybrid cloud environments running mixed
workloads can use ExpressLane to alleviate congestion, reduce latency
and improve throughput, ensuring that key applications receive highest
priority.
-- Ease of Use and Management: The ExpressLane feature requires no changes
to the existing Fibre Channel environment and is easily turned on and
off using OneCommand® Manager.
CrossLink Feature
New flash-based infrastructures, especially caching solutions, require coordination between nodes. East-West traffic (servers communicating with servers) has increased significantly with the use of technology such as VMware vSphere® vMotion® cache migration, which requires constant coordination between server nodes. Current solutions (TCP/IP and UDP) suffer from connectivity issues between nodes, including latency issues, poor QoS, excessive host CPU utilization, and lack of coordination with other storage devices. Emulex CrossLink provides an in-band FC message passing solution that ensures storage device connectivity and delivers optimized performance using lossless, standards-based FC protocols. Emulex CrossLink technology offers:
-- Increased Reliability: CrossLink technology leverages lossless FC,
eliminating dropped packets and significantly reducing the number of
points of failure by staying in-band FC.
-- Improved Performance: The in-band message passing in CrossLink
significantly reduces latency and increases CPU utilization compared
with UDP/IP by leveraging FC.
-- Reduced Operational Expenditures (OPEX): CrossLink technology reduces
OPEX because it negates the need for two teams (storage administrators
and network administrators) to jointly manage the environment.
"EMC has a unique, differentiated strategy leveraging flash technology across the entire storage infrastructure. By working with Emulex to deliver customers 16GFC we are helping address the new demands of the data center with flash technology," said Barry Ader, Vice President, Product Marketing and Management, Server Storage Software, Emerging Technology Products Group, EMC Corporation. "Through this collaboration, EMC and Emulex are providing solutions that maximize application performance by reducing latency."
"As businesses turn to virtualization and the cloud to deliver flexibility, reliability and efficiency, Fusion ioMemory provides the low-latency performance needed to virtualize any application," said Ajay Nilaver, Fusion-io Vice President of Products. "Emulex's Gen 5 FC network optimization technologies for flash help our joint customers maximize server density and eliminate I/O bottlenecks even in data-intenstive virtual environments."
"Effective flash solutions are important for today's virtualized environments. Emulex's new Gen 5 FC Flash Services technology, along with VMware vSphere® 5.5 and the VMware vSphere Flash Read Cache(TM), enable end users to use a software-defined storage architecture in their data center to improve quality of service and lower latency for mission-critical applications," said Mike Adams, director, Cloud Infrastructure, VMware.
"Fibre Channel technology is still one of the best options for high-performance, rock-solid enterprise connectivity and the protocol continues to evolve to meet the needs of the most demanding enterprise environments," said George Crump, lead analyst, Storage Switzerland. "Emulex, a long-time Fibre Channel technology leader, has developed a flash agnostic solution for enabling flash QoS on best-of-breed solutions with partners and OEMs' in-house flash/cache products."
Emulex Gen 5 FC Flash Services technology will be included as part of OneCommand Manager for use with Emulex Gen 5 FC HBAs and CFAs in the first quarter of 2014. Emulex will be showcasing this new technology in its Booth #12 this week at SNW Europe in Frankfurt, Germany.

"Safe Harbor" Statement
"Safe Harbor'' Statement under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995: With the exception of historical information, the statements set forth above, contain forward-looking statements that involve risk and uncertainties. We expressly disclaim any obligation or undertaking to release publicly any updates or changes to these forward-looking statements that may be made to reflect any future events or circumstances. We wish to caution readers that a number of important factors could cause actual results to differ materially from those in the forward-looking statements. These factors include the possibility that we may not realize the anticipated benefits from the acquisition of Endace on a timely basis or at all, and may be unable to integrate the technology, operations and personnel of Endace into our existing operations in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, intellectual property claims, with or without merit, that could result in costly litigation, cause product shipment delays, require us to indemnify customers, or require us to enter into royalty or licensing agreements, which may or may not be available. Furthermore, we have in the past obtained, and may be required in the future to obtain, licenses of technology owned by other parties. We cannot be certain that the necessary licenses will be available or that they can be obtained on commercially reasonable terms. If we were to fail to obtain such royalty or licensing agreements in a timely manner and on reasonable terms, our business, results of operations and financial condition could be materially adversely affected. Ongoing lawsuits, such as the action brought by Broadcom Corporation (Broadcom), present inherent risks, any of which could have a material adverse effect on our business, financial condition, or results of operations. Such potential risks include continuing expenses of litigation, loss of patent rights, monetary damages, injunctions against the sale of products incorporating the technology in question, counterclaims, attorneys' fees, incremental costs associated with product or component redesigns, liabilities to customers under reimbursement agreements or contractual indemnification provisions, and diversion of management's attention from other business matters. With respect to the continuing Broadcom litigation, such potential risks also include the adequacy of any sunset period to make design changes, the ability to implement any design changes, the availability of customer resources to complete any re-qualification or re-testing that may be needed, the ability to maintain favorable working relationships with Emulex suppliers of serializer/deserializer (SerDes) modules, and the ability to obtain a settlement which does not put us at a competitive disadvantage. In addition, the fact that the economy generally, and the technology and storage market segments specifically, have been in a state of uncertainty makes it difficult to determine if past experience is a good guide to the future and makes it impossible to determine if markets will grow or shrink in the short term. Continued weakness in domestic and worldwide macro-economic conditions, related disruptions in world credit and equity markets, and the resulting economic uncertainty for our customers, as well as the storage and converged networking market as a whole, has and could continue to adversely affect our revenues and results of operations. As a result of these uncertainties, we are unable to predict our future results with any accuracy. Other factors affecting these forward-looking statements include but are not limited to the following: faster than anticipated declines in the storage networking market, slower than expected growth of the converged networking market or the failure of our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers to successfully incorporate our products into their systems; our dependence on a limited number of customers and the effects of the loss of, decrease in or delays of orders by any such customers, or the failure of such customers to make timely payments; the emergence of new or stronger competitors as a result of consolidation movements in the market; the timing and market acceptance of our products or our OEM customers' new or enhanced products; costs associated with entry into new areas of the network, server and storage technology markets; the variability in the level of our backlog and the variable and seasonal procurement patterns of our customers; any inadequacy of our intellectual property protection and the costs of actual or potential third-party claims of infringement and any related indemnity obligations or adverse judgments; the effect of any actual or potential unsolicited offers to acquire us; proxy contests or the activities of activist investors; impairment charges, including but not limited to goodwill and intangible assets; changes in tax rates or legislation; the effects of acquisitions; the effects of terrorist activities, natural disasters, and any resulting disruption in our supply chain or customer purchasing patterns or any other resulting economic or political instability; the highly competitive nature of the markets for our products as well as pricing pressures that may result from such competitive conditions; the effects of changes in our business model to separately charge for software; the effect of rapid migration of customers towards newer, lower cost product platforms; transitions from board or box level to application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) solutions for selected applications; a shift in unit product mix from higher-end to lower-end or mezzanine card products; a faster than anticipated decrease in the average unit selling prices or an increase in the manufactured cost of our products; delays in product development; our reliance on third-party suppliers and subcontractors for components and assembly; our ability to attract and retain key technical personnel; our ability to benefit from our research and development activities; our dependence on international sales and internationally produced products; changes in accounting standards; and any resulting regulatory changes on our business. These and other factors could cause actual results to differ materially from those in the forward-looking statements and are discussed in our filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, including our recent filings on Forms 10-K and 10-Q, under the caption "Risk Factors."

to deliver a more natural and compelling experience between humans and robots.
NAO is Aldebaran's successful, fully-programmable and interactive humanoid robot
equipped with state-of-the-art motion, vision, tactile and audio capabilities. NAO can
walk on different surfaces, track and recognize faces and objects, express and understand
emotions, and react to touch and interact by voice. In fact, NAO has integrated Nuance's
embedded voice recognition technology to accurately hear and respond to his interlocutor's
voice, since 2011.
Aldebaran will now take advantage of Nuance's cloud-based voice recognition and
expressive text-to-speech through Nuance's NDEV developer program
[http://nuancemobiledeveloper.com/public/index.php?task=home ]. Combined, these
technologies allow people to have truly natural conversations with the robot, in nineteen
different languages. Further, NAO robots will become even further personalized through a
custom text-to-speech voice that was specifically developed to match the robot's
personality. As a result, Aldebaran will be able to create even more interaction
possibilities for future generations of robots, and better develop how they will interact

"Developing natural, conversational interactions with humanoid robots is a challenging
and pioneering area of robotics. Our robots have to express and understand emotions and
for this, there needs to be expression in their voice that speaks to their personality,
and matches their body language," said Bruno Maisonnier, CEO and founder of Aldebaran
Robotics at a recent Nuance event. "Nuance and Aldebaran have combined our voice and
robotics innovations to showcase what's possible for human-robot communication. Our vision
is to create even more intuitive and human-like interactions between man and machine as
part of the NAO experience, in turn creating a wealth of new application opportunities for
NAO and the next generation of robotic companions."
"Nuance's conversational voice innovations have changed the way people engage their
devices, consumer electronics, cars and a variety of applications - and now we're changing
the way people can communicate with the world's most sophisticated humanoid robots," said
Steve Chambers, president, sales and marketing, and executive vice president, Nuance. "By
working with Aldebaran, we're creating unique and compelling possibilities in the space of
robotics where people can connect with NAO as if they were connecting with another human
being - and that's simply powerful."
Founded in 2005 by Bruno Maisonnier and with offices in France, China, Japan and the
United States, ALDEBARAN Robotics designs, produces and commercializes autonomous humanoid
robots with the aim of contributing to the well-being of humans. Today over 5 000 NAOs are

Altera Announces Quad-Core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 for Stratix 10 SoCs
Manufactured on Intel's 14 nm Tri-Gate Process, Altera Stratix® 10 SoCs Will Deliver Industry's Most Versatile Heterogeneous Computing Platform
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ARM TechCon -- Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) today announced that its Stratix 10 SoC devices, manufactured on Intel's 14 nm Tri-Gate process, will incorporate a high-performance, quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex(TM)-A53 processor system, complementing the device's floating-point digital signal processing (DSP) blocks and high-performance FPGA fabric. Coupled with Altera's advanced system-level design tools, including OpenCL, this versatile heterogeneous computing platform will offer exceptional adaptability, performance, power efficiency and design productivity for a broad range of applications, including data center computing acceleration, radar systems and communications infrastructure.
The ARM Cortex-A53 processor, the first 64-bit processor used on a SoC FPGA, is an ideal fit for use in Stratix 10 SoCs due to its performance, power efficiency, data throughput and advanced features. The Cortex-A53 is among the most power efficient of ARM's application-class processors, and when delivered on the 14 nm Tri-Gate process will achieve more than six times more data throughput compared to today's highest performing SoC FPGAs. The Cortex-A53 also delivers important features, such as virtualization support, 256TB memory reach and error correction code (ECC) on L1 and L2 caches. Furthermore, the Cortex-A53 core can run in 32-bit mode, which will run Cortex-A9 operating systems and code unmodified, allowing a smooth upgrade path from Altera's 28 nm and 20 nm SoC FPGAs.
"ARM is pleased to see Altera adopting the lowest power 64-bit architecture as an ideal complement to DSP and FPGA processing elements to create a cutting-edge heterogeneous computing platform," said Tom Cronk, executive vice president and general manager, Processor Division, ARM. "The Cortex-A53 processor delivers industry-leading power efficiency and outstanding performance levels, and it is supported by the ARM ecosystem and its innovative software community."
Leveraging Intel's 14 nm Tri-Gate process and an enhanced high-performance architecture, Altera Stratix 10 SoCs will have a programmable-logic performance level of more than 1GHz; two times the core performance of current high-end 28 nm FPGAs.
"High-end networking and communications infrastructure are rapidly migrating toward heterogeneous computing architectures to achieve maximum system performance and power efficiency," said Linley Gwennap, principal analyst at The Linley Group, a leading embedded research firm. "What Altera is doing with its Stratix 10 SoC, both in terms of silicon convergence and high-level design tool support, puts the company at the forefront of delivering heterogeneous computing platforms and positions them well to capitalize on myriad opportunities."
By standardizing on ARM processors across its three-generation SoC portfolio, Altera will offer software compatibility and a common ARM ecosystem of tools and operating system support. Embedded developers will be able to accelerate debug cycles with Altera's SoC Embedded Design Suite (EDS) featuring the ARM Development Studio 5 (DS-5(TM)) Altera® Edition toolkit, the industry's only FPGA-adaptive debug tool, as well as use Altera's software development kit (SDK) for OpenCL to create heterogeneous implementations using the OpenCL high-level design language.
"With Stratix 10 SoCs, designers will have a versatile and powerful heterogeneous compute platform enabling them to innovate and get to market faster," said Danny Biran, senior vice president, corporate strategy and marketing at Altera. "This will be very exciting for customers as converged silicon continues to be the best solution for complex, high-performance applications."

Kwikset's® Kevo(TM) Smart Lock Turns Your Smartphone Into A Key
Kevo is now shipping to homes across the country
LAKE FOREST, Calif., Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Kwikset®, a leading brand of the Hardware & Home Improvement (HHI) division of Spectrum Brands Holdings (NYSE: SPB), answers consumer demand for both convenience and security with its Kevo(TM) smart lock. The highly anticipated Bluetooth®-enabled deadbolt is now available to order and begins shipping today to homes across America. By simply installing Kevo and downloading the mobile app, your iPhone® becomes your key. Convenient and versatile, Kevo gives owners the ability to unlock the door with their smartphone and a simple touch; send electronic keys (eKeys) to family, friends and service people; and receive notifications whenever a user enters or exits their door.
"Kevo is not just another lock, it represents a shift in lifestyle for busy homeowners. Whether keeping track of your teenage daughter, granting temporary access to a housecleaner or monitoring your front door activity while on vacation, Kevo redefines the meaning of smart, simple security," said Greg Gluchowski, president, Kwikset.
The Total Key Management Solution
Using the Kevo mobile app, homeowners can send eKeys to family, friends or service people, anytime, anywhere. Once an eKey is sent, recipients can simply download the mobile app, if they don't already have it installed, keep their iPhone in their purse or pocket and unlock the door with a simple touch. With several levels of permissions, Kevo Owners and Administrators have authorization to send, delete and disable eKeys within seconds. After distributing eKeys, they can choose to receive notifications when a user locks or unlocks the door, for convenient home security management. Homeowners agree, eKeys are the answer to every-day challenges in key (and home security) management:
"Using Kevo is like living in the future. My new smart lock, and therefore my home, now magically recognizes me by touch. Being able to issue and revoke virtual keys to family members or service providers is priceless. Install was a breeze, even for a guy like me who's never replaced a deadbolt, and it only required a single screwdriver," said David Zatz, blogger at "Zatz Not Funny".
"I have two dogs that I walk and two children, ages four and two. I am always carrying the kids, groceries and my bags from work, holding the dog's leashes, or with my hands full," said Kathy Z. of "3 Boys and a Dog" blog. "This device is invaluable to me because, instead of fumbling for keys (that I inevitably drop), I can simply touch my lock with one finger and gain access to my home. I always have my phone on me, either in my pant pocket or in my purse, and I can just leave it in there, touch my Kevo and I am in. The convenience factor is huge!"
A Mobile App that Gives You Control and Convenience
Kwikset's Kevo mobile app includes a simple interface that delivers much more than eKey management. After setting up a Kevo account, Owners can customize and control everything through their app, including:
-- Managing eKeys and settings associated with each given lock
-- Receiving notifications when a user enters or exits the door
-- Monitoring lock activity and tracking user history
-- Updating Kevo lock software directly from a smartphone

NetSuite Transports Toll's Asian Operations To The Cloud
Toll Deploys NetSuite OneWorld for Global Business Management from Financial Consolidation Across Asian Operations, Fixed Assets, Multi-Currency, Multi-Language to Business Intelligence
SYDNEY, Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --NetSuite Inc. (NYSE: N), the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP and omnichannel commerce software suites, today announced that Toll Group, the Asia Pacific region's leading provider of logistics, has implemented NetSuite OneWorld across 120 seats in its Toll Global Express Asia business. Toll Global Express Asia is one of the Asia Pacific region's fastest growing express delivery services, specialising in the urgent delivery of confidential parcels and documents. Part of Toll Group, Toll Global Express Asia's network spans five continents operating from key hubs including Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing.
NetSuite OneWorld replaced multiple applications and manual processes including MYOB accounting software and custom Excel spreadsheets to power Toll Global Express Asia's core business operations including financial consolidation across multiple Asian markets with multi-currency for six currencies, customer relationship management (CRM) to gain real-time business visibility into its overall Asian market performance.
Toll Implemented NetSuite OneWorld for Its Asian Operations in a Two-Tier Model
The company turned to NetSuite after an extensive review of major on-premise and cloud-based ERP/financial solutions in order to replace the multiple platforms, software and manual business solutions that Toll Global Express Asia inherited through a series of acquisitions across Asia. Toll was previously using MYOB and multiple Excel spreadsheets, which necessitated data entry into three separate systems to invoice customers and produce end of month reports and resulted in inefficiencies and significant time wasted on reconciliation and data re-entry.
"Initially, a cloud-based solution was not the highest priority for us, but we quickly saw that in addition to NetSuite's exceptional functionality, cloud technology would mean we could manage upgrades, expand our operations and remain at the forefront of technology without investing further significant time or capital," said Toll Global Express head of Finance and Commercial, Jey Jeyakumar. "The flexibility and scalability of NetSuite is of great benefit, giving us the power to add new requirements and instantly adapt without the need to engage costly IT staff, when and if our business changes."
By implementing NetSuite OneWorld, Toll Global Express Asia has been able to address the complex multinational and multi-subsidiary challenges that it faced by easily consolidating reporting across multiple markets and currencies with a single solution. It is currently supporting six currencies, Australian dollar, US dollar, Hong Kong dollar, Singapore dollar, Euro and China RMB, allowing real-time visibility and reporting across the enterprise in order to help Toll make better and faster decisions. Toll is also using NetSuite OneWorld to manage its fixed assets, enabling it to maintain and control the complete lifecycle of its depreciated and non-depreciating assets, providing tight integration that weaves asset acquisition into the accounting process and allows for quick reporting on all assets, current valuations, asset types and more.
"We are gaining so much value from NetSuite's reporting, which gives us the ability to view our different regional subsidiaries in an instant," added Mr. Jeyakumar. "Prior to NetSuite, if we needed a consolidated general ledger from our regional HQ in Singapore, for example, someone would have to manually consolidate data into a spreadsheet and then email the data to us. Now this process is completely automated, with information readily available wherever and whenever we need it, and in whichever customisable format required."
NetSuite OneWorld Gives Toll the Power, Agility, Flexibility and Speed It Needs to Get Its Asian Operations Up and Running
Since deploying NetSuite OneWorld, Toll Global Express Asia has unprecedented visibility into its business and has transformed the accuracy, reliability and availability of its data across the region. NetSuite offers a real-time 360-degree view of the customer experience; lead and opportunity management, upsell, renewals and service which has enabled Toll to record links between customers, to invoicing, to items being billed. This has saved associated headcount costs as it is now able to make highly customisable bespoke reports in an instant that would have previously required the expertise of an experienced computer programmer.
"NetSuite gives Toll powerful insights into every aspect of its Asia Pacific organisation, despite multiple language, currency, taxation and reporting requirements," said Mark Troselj, managing director of APAC and Japan for NetSuite. "NetSuite OneWorld can give companies like Toll the ability to enable regionally dispersed organisations to seamlessly meet the individual needs of local operations whilst giving a consolidated and real-time view of its entire operations, anytime, anywhere."
Today, more than 16,000 companies and subsidiaries depend on NetSuite to run complex, mission-critical business processes globally in the cloud. Since its inception in 1998, NetSuite has established itself as the leading provider of enterprise-class cloud financials/ERP suites for divisions of large enterprises and mid-sized organisations seeking to upgrade their antiquated client/server ERP systems. NetSuite excels at streamlining business operations as demonstrated in a recent Gartner study naming NetSuite as the fastest growing financial management software vendor on a global basis. NetSuite continues its success in delivering the best cloud ERP/financials suites to businesses around the world, enabling them to lower IT costs significantly while increasing productivity, as the global adoption of the cloud is accelerating.

Grand Opening Events Under-Way
RadioShack will proudly participate in Sundance Square's Opening Weekend Celebration from Friday - Sunday, November 1 - 3, 2013. In the Plaza, the company will provide cell phone charging stations and hand out coupons for $10 off your qualifying purchase of $40 or more. Look for the RadioShack table and banner just inside the Plaza entry on Commerce.
Just steps away at Commerce and 3(rd), RadioShack will add to the celebration at the new store with coupons, giveaways and an event photographer taking a series of images that become animated to help guests commemorate the occasion.
RadioShack Revitalizes Numerous Dallas - Fort Worth Area Stores
The Sundance Square store joins the Montgomery Plaza store as the second concept store to open in Fort Worth; however, concept stores are only part of the story.
-- RadioShack's nationwide efforts to update its stores began locally in
May at the company's Camp Bowie Boulevard store, which has served as a
"living lab" environment;
-- By this weekend, more than 70 DFW locations will finish a major reset
that includes new paint and an all-new internal sign package;
-- All DFW locations have completed a merchandise update designed to
deliver a better shopping experience and make room for new products in
growing categories; and
-- In November, all area stores will receive their holiday window graphics,
in-store displays and new product assortment - including the season's
hottest RC vehicles, many of which are RadioShack exclusives - such as
the return of the company's XMODs custom RC cars.
In addition to reflecting the company's commitment to the area, these changes reflect the company's strides toward reinvigorating its stores, revamping its product assortment and repositioning the brand. By the end of 2013, RadioShack will have more than 100 concept and brand statement stores open and will have made improvements to nearly all 4,300 stores throughout the nation.
