But Hanks said that it will still be up to investors and entrepreneurs to protect themselves from deals that are too good to be true and entrepreneurs who over-promise.

Datawatch Completes Purchase of Monarch Intellectual Property
CHELMSFORD, Mass., March 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Datawatch Corporation (NASDAQ: DWCH), the leading global provider of report analytics products and services, today announced that it has completed the previously announced purchase of the intellectual property underlying its Monarch Report Analytics platform from Raymond Huger, d/b/a Math Strategies.
The $8.5 million purchase was funded through the combination of a $4.0 million subordinated note with warrants from Massachusetts Capital Resource Company, $1.5 million of a $2.0 million working capital loan from Silicon Valley Bank and Datawatch's cash balances. The transaction is expected to be accretive from a cash point of view as the savings in royalty payments should exceed the cash interest and additional costs. From an earnings perspective, the amortization of the intellectual property purchase and the non-cash interest expense from the warrants will result in an annual non-cash charge to earnings of $1.8 million during the 5 year amortization period of the intellectual property.

AT&T Launches Industry-First Microsite for Greater New York Region to Show Up-To-Date Network Upgrades
NEW YORK, March 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to customer feedback, AT&T* is offering greater New York region wireless users a bird's eye view of AT&T's wireless network enhancements.
Beginning today, New Yorkers can see up-to-date network enhancements in the greater New York region by simply visiting the new "focus: New York" microsite. An industry first, the microsite provides an unparalleled view of what AT&T is doing to enhance the customer experience.
Visitors to the microsite will see a map of the greater New York region, and are prompted to select the city or borough they're most interested in exploring.
The hyper-local map displays specific network enhancements that AT&T has made in the area since the beginning of 2011, and is updated weekly. Enhancements include new cell sites, broadband speed upgrades, capacity upgrades and network connection upgrades. US$100 Smart Phone Made in China Attracts Universal Attention
According to forecasts by some media, the Guohong Shuidi phone recently launched in China may in the near future start a war between Chinese handset manufacturers and foreign ones for market share with "low-cost smart phones".
