PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T* invested nearly $925 million in its Pennsylvania wireless and wireline networks from 2009 through 2011 with a focus on improving the company's mobile broadband coverage and overall performance of its networks.
During 2011, AT&T made more than 2,400 wireless network upgrades in four key categories in Pennsylvania. These enhancements include:
-- Activating more than 50 new cell sites or towers to improve network
coverage.
-- Deploying faster fiber-optic connections to more than 1,000 cell sites.
Combined with HSPA+ technology, these deployments enable 4G speeds**.
-- Adding capacity or an extra layer of frequency to cell sites - like
adding lanes to a highway - with the addition of more than 1,150 of
these layers, or "carriers".
-- Upgrading nearly 200 cell sites to provide fast mobile broadband speeds.

BEIJING, Feb. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- KongZhong Corporation (the "Company") (NASDAQ: KONG), a leading provider of digital entertainment services for consumers in China, today announced it has entered into definitive agreements to acquire 100% of the equity interest in Noumena Innovations (BVI) Ltd. ("Noumena") and certain assets from a related party of Noumena for a total consideration of US$15.0 million in cash, which is payable over three years from the closing of the transactions, and 40.0 million of the Company's ordinary shares (equivalent to 1.0 million ADSs), which are subject to a three-year lock-up period. The board of directors of the Company has approved the transactions, and the transactions are expected to close in the first quarter of 2012.
Noumena is the developer of Handymo, a cross-platform smartphone mobile game engine. The Handymo game engine, using its proprietary JavaScript-based development environment, supports all major smartphone mobile game platforms, including iOS, Android and HTML5, allowing for more rapid and cost-effective development of smartphone games, including 3D mobile massively multiplayer online ("MMO") games. By leveraging the Handymo game engine, Noumena has developed a number of successful "freemium" games for the iOS and Android platforms, including 3D Pool Master and Tank Fury HD 3D.

DirectEmployer's Association Releases Mobile Functionality to .JOBS Top Level Domains
The .JOBS Universe will now be accessible to job seekers using their mobile browsers to conduct job searches.

In 2007, an alliance between DirectEmployers Association and the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) created the National Labor Exchange. Since then the National Labor Exchange, which powers US.jobs, has been utilized by employers as an alternative to commercial job boards.
