Ben honors the request of a show fan to create controller mod for 13-year old boy with Pompe Disease

Patrick and his family have blazed a trail of hope and inspiration since he and his sister were diagnosed with Pompe in March of 1998. For this build, Ben creates a breakout box with eight input switches to act as the interpretation layer between the Xbox 360(TM) controller and simplified controls. Ben first explains how the signals travel from the Xbox controller button to the game itself, then takes viewers through the necessary steps - from desoldering and relocating signal pins to rewiring connections to each signal line for easier game play.

Cox Communications Announces Agreement to Sell Advanced Wireless Spectrum to Verizon Wireless
Cox and Verizon Wireless will become agents to sell each other's residential and commercial products
ATLANTA, Dec. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell to Verizon Wireless its 20 MHz Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) spectrum licenses covering 28 million POPs for $315 million. The sale of Cox's AWS spectrum to Verizon Wireless is an important step to ensure that consumers' growing demands for mobility will be met. This agreement does not include Cox's 700 MHz spectrum licenses, the company's Cox Wireless customer accounts or any other assets.
Separately, Cox and Verizon Wireless will also become agents to sell each other's residential and commercial products and services through their respective sales channels. Over time, Cox may have the option to sell Verizon Wireless' services on a wholesale basis. In addition, Cox expects to enter into arrangements with the innovation technology joint venture formed by Verizon Wireless, Comcast, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks to better integrate wireline and wireless products and services.

The sale and transfer of Cox's advanced wireless spectrum to Verizon Wireless is subject to approval by the Federal Communications Commission and review under the Hart-Scott Rodino Act and other customary conditions.
Cox announced last month that it would no longer sell its Cox Wireless service, but would continue to provide service to its wireless customers through March 30, 2012.

ALBANY, N.Y., Dec. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless is investing in Albany County and expanding its local coverage with a new cell site in Albany. The new site improves coverage and capacity on New Scotland Avenue from Krumkill Road to Academy Road, Hackett Boulevard from South Manning Boulevard to Academy Road, and on South Main Avenue from Western Avenue to Hackett Boulevard.
In addition to ongoing investment in its 3G network, Verizon Wireless continues to roll out its 4G LTE network nationwide. The 4G LTE network is currently available in 190 markets, including Albany, Buffalo, Glens Falls, Rochester, Syracuse, Ithaca, Orange County, NY, Poughkeepsie-Kingston, Utica-Rome and the New York City area. Full nationwide 4G LTE deployment is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2013.

Pioneer Cellular's 4G LTE Network Testing Signals All Systems Go
First LTE in Rural America Program Participant Completes LTE Data Session
BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Dec. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pioneer Cellular, one of 13 participants in the Verizon Wireless LTE in Rural America program, has successfully completed end-to-end data testing over its new 4G LTE network in preparation for a commercial launch next spring for customers in central and western Oklahoma. The new Pioneer 4G LTE network will enable Pioneer and Verizon Wireless customers to enjoy high-speed data services within Pioneer's coverage area and provide Pioneer customers with access to Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE network throughout the United States.
Pioneer announced its participation in the LTE in Rural America program last December and during the past year has constructed cell towers, laid fiber optic cable, and installed network hardware and software, working closely with Verizon Wireless engineers. Pioneer is now testing its new network and trial devices for speed, reliability and ease of use.
