First Electric Vehicle Wireless Charging Trial Announced for London
LONDON, Nov. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM) today announced the first Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging (WEVC) trial for London in what is a UK and industry-leading initiative. Qualcomm is collaborating with the UK Government, as well as the Mayor of London's office and Transport for London (TfL) to deliver the trial.
The pre-commercial trial is expected to start in early 2012 and will involve as many as 50 electric vehicles (EVs). The trial will use Qualcomm wireless inductive power transfer technology that enables high-efficiency power transfer across a large air gap. It is very easy to use: the driver simply parks the vehicle in the usual way and the system automatically aligns for power transfer, making parking easier and charging hassle free.
The trial, which will be based partially in Tech City, the East London cluster receiving the strong support of the Prime Minister, is planned to leverage the Tech City entrepreneurial community and encourage companies to innovate around services and applications, in order to enhance the smart EV experience.

2011.
The agenda of this announced annual general meeting is as follows:
1) To re-elect Shimon Alon, Dov Biran, Dan Falk and Ron
Zuckerman as directors of the Company;
2) To re-elect Ms. Tali Alush-Aben as external director;
3) To authorize Mr. Shimon Alon, the Chief Executive Officer of
the Company, to also serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of
the Company for a term of three years;
4) To approve modifications to the terms of employment (including
grant of stock options) of Mr. Shimon Alon as our Chief Executive
Officer;
5) To grant stock options to our non-employee directors;
6) To approve amendments to Articles 1 and 98 of the Company's

Dutch-Belgian-Trading GmbH (DBT) has today acquired Hamburg based
SevenCs GmbH and ChartWorld GmbH from Admiralty Holdings Limited (AHL), a
wholly-controlled subsidiary of the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office
(UKHO).
Mr. Jochen Rudolph, Managing Director of DBT, said: "DBT has exciting
and ambitious plans to develop a completely new concept for integrated ECDIS
and digital chart data services aimed at the SOLAS retrofit market. The
acquisition of ChartWorld and SevenCs is a big step towards the rapid
realisation of that concept."

Arnold Palmer Makes 20th Hole-in-One With New Callaway Irons
Ace Comes on Home Course in Orlando in First Round with Callaway RAZR XF Irons
CARLSBAD, Calif., Nov. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) staff professional Arnold Palmer added to his legendary list of golf achievements on Tuesday, November 8th, when he notched his 20th hole-in-one while playing an afternoon round on his home course in Orlando, Florida. This most recent ace came on hole No. 7 of the Charger Course at the Palmer-owned Bay Hill Club & Lodge.
Palmer, who has been on staff with Callaway since 2000, was playing his first round with a brand new set of Callaway's recently released RAZR XF(TM) irons and using the Callaway Tour i(z)® golf ball. The 82-year-old accomplished the feat with a RAZR XF 5-iron from 163 yards.
"It was into a cross-wind from the left. The ball landed 10 feet short and politely rolled up into the hole," Palmer explained. "I enjoyed the new irons very much. Yesterday was the first time I used them and I made a hole-in-one, so it was quite a surprise. I'm actually going out to hit some more balls today because I'm excited to play with this new equipment."
The hole-in-one was part of an impressive round of golf for Palmer, who played alongside friends Dick Ferris, Bill Damron, Bruce Walters and Will Carey. Palmer carded a 79--going out in 40 and coming home in 39--to best his age by three shots, but said the hole-in-one put a dent in his wallet. "It cost me quite a lot of money (at the 19th hole)...and I didn't mind one bit," Palmer quipped.
Of his 20 lifetime aces, Palmer made three in PGA Tour events, four on the Senior (now Champions) Tour, and one in Japan. His last hole-in-one came eight years ago, also at Bay Hill. "My first one came at Latrobe Country Club when I was in high school on a short par-3," Palmer recalled. "I think I've made three of the 20 on that same hole. In the early days I was hitting wedges on that hole and now I'm hitting 8-irons."
